Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort, Elephant Butte, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Very convenient to Elephante Butte and Truth or Consequences. Associated with the hotel across the street, allowing campers access to the hotel amenities. Nice clubhouse with several onsite planned activities. A local bluegrass band uses the clubhouse for practice one night a week, and they open it to campers, a nice bonus. Very helpful and friendly staff. We camped at Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Railside RV Ranch, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park. It is convenient to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Offering reservations for the Grand Canyon Railway, which passes right by the park. They provide breakfast for campers every day and there is always fresh coffee available in the office. Spacious sites with conveniently located hookups. When the trees get a little bigger it will be nicely shaded, which is needed. Very quiet at night, yet within walking distance of Williams and Route 66. Friendly, helpful hosts. We camped at Railside RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

The Ranch - Escapees Park (members only), Lakewood, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This is the friendliest, nicest campground I've ever stayed in. Most of the residents are outgoing, kind, and considerate. They all really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I only stayed for 10 days, but saying goodbye choked me up, and I don't normally get involved with communities like this. The Escapees RV Club has a REAL gem in this park and its residents. I would join Escapees, just so I could come back to this park! We camped at The Ranch - Escapees Park (members only) in a Motorhome.
