Trappers Kettle Campground, Belfield, North Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Spaces were wide and adequate for a big rig. Site was not level we had to move to another site. Not much grass for walking your dog. Would probably stay here again if we were to visit Medora again. We camped at Trappers Kettle Campground in a Motorhome.

Wolf Lodge Campground, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Entrance very tight for big rig. Sites are small. Water pressure very low. A/C power adequate although line 1 was lower than line 2 by 10 Volts AC. Make sure you ask for Good Sam discount when you check in, otherwise you are out of luck. We arrived before check in time of 2 PM and they would not let us check in or let us park on the property. Not very accommodating. Would not stay here again. We camped at Wolf Lodge Campground in a Motorhome.

Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Resort, Joliet, Illinois

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Casino RV park. Wide and long spaces lots of grass for dogs. Laundry room with washers and dryers. No sewer connection. Dump station by the rear of the hotel with easy access on exit. A nice park for a day or two but inconvenient without sewer connection. We camped at Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Blue Ox RV Park, Pender, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent facility and free if you are here for service on a Blue Ox product. My site was concrete, but some sites were gravel. Very spacious and we'll maintained grounds. Not a location as a destination, unless you need service though. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Home RV Park, Mountain Home, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Extremely well maintained Park. Very clean and manicured. Lots of grass wide driveways, generous sites. Can wash you coach without fees. This park is the bicentennial we have saved at this summer. I will look for other G7 Parks when we travel in the West again. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This CG is close to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Of all the campgrounds South of Moab, this is probably the nicest. We have stayed here previously and would again. Great value with Passport America.

Very nice shaded, level sites. Some road noise during the day, but quiet at night. Close to town center and lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Close to Dinosaur National Monument. Would stay here again. Only a few sites with view for Sat. TV. We camped at Fossil Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Excellent park, very well maintained, level sites, convenient utility layout. Sites are a little narrow, otherwise would have given a 10. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Motorhome.

River Walk RV Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Rate represents Good Sam discount. Big rig friendly is a stretch. Our site was a back in and barely big enough for our 38' coach. We had a very nice view of the Spokane River, however. Overall this park is small and in dire need of maintenance. The sites are mostly small and level enough to use jacks without pads. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. If I were to return in the future would probably not stay here again. We camped at River Walk RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Pleasant RV Park, Bothell, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Attractive park close to Seattle metropolitan area. Close to shopping and restaurants. Very well maintained, and clean. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. What is especially important is a parking area for those who plan a cruise to/from Alaska through the inside passage. We were able to leave our coach for two weeks at a very nominal cost with electric to power the charger and refer while we were away. Much better than parking at the cruise terminal. The only downside is the transient spaces were very close together. The length was very good though. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Mill Casino RV Park, North Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean and nice park. Spacious asphalt paved sites, with all hookups conveniently laid out. Pet walk area with grass and a small dog park. Wi-fi was very fast, with a strong signal. Cable TV was excellent. The park is located next to a casino and some commercial docks, but the view across the bay is well worth staying here. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Diamond Lake RV Park, Diamond Lake, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is rustic. Woods all around. Sites were level enough not to need any blocking. Hookups were suitable. Satellite reception can be problematic in some sites. Wifi, 10go, was very poor -reception was ok, but administrators would cut you off after very low usage. Verizon reception was usable most of the time. I would have given a higher rating if their Wi-Fi was better. The staff is very friendly and courteous and the proximity to Diamond Lake and Crater Lake gives this CG an excellent location for outdoor recreation and sightseeing. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Kaweah Park Resort, Three Rivers, California

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Our site was a pull in, facing a branch of the Kaweah River. Very picturesque park with lots of big trees and grass. The power available was both 30 and 50 amp, water and sewer were adequate. Wi-Fi was barely above dial-up speed - very poor I would have given a higher rating if it was better. No cell service from Verizon. The site are close together, and level. They are angled so I didn't mind the tight quarters. I would stay here again if we were in the area to visit Sequoia NP. No discounts on the rate, which seemed high. Welcome to California. We camped at Kaweah Park Resort in a Motorhome.

Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging, Groveland, California

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This CG needs some major renovation. The roads are in dire need of gravel to keep the dust down. Just walking your dog will raise a cloud of dust. The sites are very small for big rigs. My site had tree branches hanging so low they laid on top of the coach and trees so close as to prevent our awnings from opening. Trees definitely needed trimming. Electric, water and sewer service were fine. Rate posted was with Good Sam discount. I would not camp here again. We camped at Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging in a Motorhome.
