The park lacks a pool and hot tub, which is disappointing. They also have power issues- as in lack of. Even our TV would dim and brighten frequently and then blow the breaker. Good thing we have surge protection. The park is clean. The weirdest Wi-Fi I have ever seen- the password is to log into an CloudTrax internet site as a gateway to the rest of the internet. Well, most Wi-Fi ready devices don't support that- so no Roku, no streaming, no Smart TV hub use- which was really annoying considering their cable is very basic and not the best picture anyway. Come on people- get with the times! They also don't allow fires except in their pits- which has the seating right up on the pit- excellent chance to get burned.

Not bad. A little pricey for small spaces with no privacy, but close to the beach. They have a hard time thinking things through, as our tow dolly broke on the way, so I had to drive our car into the campground instead of towing it. They charged me an extra 30 dollars for an extra vehicle, even though they could clearly see it was our tow vehicle, for which there is no extra charge. They DO NOT have sewer hookup but a dump station right beside the restrooms. Kind of awkward as it is smelly and somewhat dangerous due to heavy foot traffic. Bathrooms and showers were clean. The grounds were quiet at night and family friendly. They also do not have Wi-Fi access. Overall OK, but I probably would not come back unless it was a last resort.

Not the nicest park. Full of local long term residents. Tiny sites, dogs roaming about, excrement everywhere. Manager not there in early afternoon. A resident volunteered to help but was not an employee. Long Beach in general has a lot of issues; definitely not the fun place of my youth. Sad to see this town so run down.

Great place to relax and reconnect. Stayed here 3 nights and had a blast. Rangers were helpful and friendly, lots of hiking and things for the kids to do- walk the beach. Learned about the history of the area. Quiet at night, no issues with rowdy campers at all. Will make this a yearly tradition! There is no shopping near by, so be sure to bring everything you need.

Great park! I was worried as there is little to separate this park from a migrant worker park or the very busy highway. The park turned out to be fenced and quite safe. Security gate works well, the frontage road controls traffic and is a great buffer. We never heard any road noise. Our site, B15 was right on the river with 2 firepits and plenty of space for our softball team's BBQue. Very clean and well maintained. Some of the office staff, particularly the younger gals, are not friendly, but not unpleasant. We definitely would stay here again!!!

Very shabby. Stayed here because everything else was full. A Walmart parking lot would have better. We pulled into our site which was supposed to a pull through, but our truck and 25 ft trailer were too long. We had only been there about 7 minutes and were leveling and unhooking when they came and insisted we move our truck even though we were not sticking out past the parking for our stall. Then the neighbors came, and with their slide out we could barely use our door and tiny strip of grass. They charge you for electricity though they failed to mention it when we checked in. The park ( well, parking lot really) is full of full time residents that have junk cars and motorhomes. I felt really unsafe and nervous, but we were stuck. They advertise wi-fi but it never worked, and the whole place was creepy! We would NEVER go back here!
