Arrowhead Campground, New Paris, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is 95% seasonal and only have a small amount of sites for travelers. The seasonal campers are well kept. I recommend calling and reserving a site because the limited weekend sites fill up quickly. The campground is very clean. The sites are very close. The hosts are very friendly and they take you to your site and help you back in. There are two ponds to fish in but it is catch and release and full of seaweed. The restrooms and pool area was extremely clean. I stayed in a 34' trailer on site 80. I would stay again. We camped at Arrowhead Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Winton Woods Campground, Cincinnati, Ohio

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed on site 7F which is a full hookup site. The site was gravel pad with concrete patio and level. There were no trees for shade but I didn't mind. Restrooms are very clean. Only dislike is that you have to pay $3 each time you enter Winton Woods Park or Section to enter the lake. You can buy a year pass for $10, I personally felt if I paid to camp there that I shouldn't have to pay to enter Winton Woods Park. The park has an excellent bike path to enjoy. The boat rental was very feasible about $44 per hour for pontoon and you don't have to fill it up with gas when you return. I will definitely return again. Make your reservations far in advance because the campground fills up almost every weekend. We camped at Winton Woods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

White River Campground, Cicero, Indiana

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very clean park. All sites paved and leveled. Disappointed in the sites along the river, the website makes it appears that you can walk right up to the river and start fishing. This isn't true. The banks are grown up which makes it difficult to fish from. The pond is full of trash and algae so in my opinion it's un-fishable. Camp store charges a dollar fee on every transaction you use your credit card on which I totally disagree with. Overall it's a clean and nice campground and would stay again. We camped at White River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Kendall COE, Jamestown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I traveled with my 35' RV which was hard to maneuver on the narrow roads. I stayed on site #24 and if there had been anyone across from me when I arrived I would not have been able to back into my site. I noticed this problem throughout the park. The sites are very close together. If you have a 30' or longer RV I recommend reserving sites 43-54. There was no TV reception which did not bother me but I did notice several people had satellites so I would guess to say they were able to get a signal. The Fish Hatchery is an excellent place to visit especially if you have small kids with you. Most people say the fishing is great there but I had no luck, never got a bite. I would stay again but definitely on row 43-54. We camped at Kendall COE in a Travel Trailer.

Frontier Campground, Waynesville, Ohio

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground and nice location. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The restrooms are very clean. The sites are fairly close together and can be very difficult backing into your spot if there are other campers on each side of you. WI-FI did not work for me nowhere in the park. Would stay again. We camped at Frontier Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Whispering Hills Jellystone Park Camp-Resort (formerly Whispering Hil, Shreve, Ohio

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The park was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The restrooms were the cleanest I had ever seen. Fishing was great, caught about 30 bluegills over a three day period. I thought the sites with the gravel drives were too close but the sites in the grass were spaced very well. The WiFi was very weak. I would definitely stay again. We camped at Whispering Hills Jellystone Park Camp-Resort (formerly Whispering Hil in a Travel Trailer.
