Port of Newport RV Park, Newport, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park is spotless. Showers, laundry, office, and campground are all pristine. The camp host is one of the friendliest I have ever encountered. We camped at Port of Newport RV Park in a Motorhome.

Thousand Trails / Russian River Resort, Cloverdale, California

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as RPI Preferred members. The check-in took about 25 minutes (10 for someone to show up at the kiosk). After that we were on our own to find a suitable site. The whole park is somewhat primitive. In great need of road improvement' hook ups need to be maintained or repaired, and trees near the road need to be pruned. It is difficult to get level with a motorhome, because the sites are short and only partially level. We camped at Thousand Trails / Russian River Resort in a Motorhome.

Willits KOA, Willits, California

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Typical KOA. Lots of kids on the weekend and lots for them to do. Very friendly staff. They did try to charge us $5.00 because we arrived 30 minutes earlier than check in time even though our reserved site was available. After a stern look, they relented and let us come back to the office later to register. Very, very clean and attractive. We camped at Willits KOA in a Motorhome.
