Taos Valley RV Park & Campground, Taos, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Well kept park, but some tight turns and larger rigs may have trouble getting in a pull thru space. Dirt roads and gravel sites. Good for an over night stay over. A bit crowded for a long stay. Lots of desert folliage made the sites seem not so close together. Friendly staff. No cable, but air antenna worked very well. WiFi good. We camped at Taos Valley RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Angel Fire RV Resort, Angel Fire, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Fairly new park. Landscaping is still growing in, but already beautiful. Spacious sites with very young trees. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean restrooms, showers and laundry. 2 new Pickleball courts. Easy access to interior roads and to sites. Some complimentary entertainment at the clubhouse. Prairie Dog town next to my site. Highly recommend and would camp there again. We camped at Angel Fire RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Trailer Village RV Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

In Roswell for the Senior Olympics. 106 degrees in the afternoon. Cable reception is poor, but local HD is great! WiFi is spotty but marginally usable. Electric and water were strong and reliable. About half the sites have trees/ shade. Easy access to park and camp site. The sites are close together but doable. Restroom and showers were dated but clean. I will camp there again. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hacienda RV Resort, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean well run park. Overnight stay in a motorhome. Grounds and facilities were very clean. Paved roads, gravel sites were easy entry. Curb was a little tall. My 35' motorhome pulling a jeep barely fit. Any longer and you would need to disconnect. Overall, a great place for just an overnight stay. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort (55+ park), El Mirage, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed a week during baseball's spring training. Very busy time for the RV parks. This site is billed as a "premier RV Park". I found it to be less than advertized. The grounds and facilities are very clean and landscaped immaculately. The staff is very friendly, but ineffective. The sites were spacious, but dirt. The picnic table was unusable as it encroached on neighboring site. Inacurately, they doubled my bill and was told it was a computer glitch they couldn't fix. It did get fixed at check-in. The site has all the attachments at the rear and shared with adjoining site. Bring extra hoses. The electric box is mounted facing the other direction. Most sites do not have free WIFI or cable. You must pay a fee. If staying longer, you must contact the utility companies directly. I did not feel the park lived up to a premier billing. We camped at Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Surprise, Ariz., and surrounding area is a wonderful town. Heavy traffic, but every food, movie and recreation imaginable. Spring training was a hoot.

Butterfield RV Resort & Observatory, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean and well run park. I camped in a pull through for a motorhome. The park's restrooms and facilities were clean and more than adequate for a one night pass through stay. We have and will stay here again. One note. The pull thru site was barely long enough to accomodate 35' motorhome and attached jeep. Any longer and I would have to disconnect. We camped at Butterfield RV Resort & Observatory in a Motorhome.

We camped in a very rainy four days. I don't give our 10's very often. The staff was terrific, and was very helpful at all times. Beautiful scenery across from a hang glider airport. Easy access with grassy and shaded spots all over. Wi-Fi worked well, Limited cable channels. Chuckwagon breakfast available on the weekends we were there. We would camp there again. Tucson / Lazydays KOA, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean, well maintained park. Spacious pull-through sites. Very friendly staff and excellent security. Every site had landscaping and some with grass. Level, gravel sites with concrete picnic pads and metal table and chairs. Wi-Fi was slow to unusable at times. Our site cable never worked at all. An appointment with a service rep at our site for a minor problem never showed up. Overall, an excellent stay at a quality park. We camped four days. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Emerald Beach RV Park, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Well maintained park on the beach. We camped on the beach access site, but had to back in, which blocked the view. Clean, dog friendly park. Access going east can be tricky. Cable reception was spotty at times. Overall, a good experience. We would camp here again. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.
