Date of Stay:

We are at Willowtree now for the seventh time in a little over 2 years. Our nightly rate is so low because we are here for a month and the monthly rate is very good! We have just finished a trip around the country that took us to 20 states. We stayed in some very nice places, but nothing we have seen comes anywhere near Willowtree. The sites are the largest and levelest we have seen. They each have a very nice patio area, everything is neat and clean, and we have never had a problem with any of the staff! We like being out in the country where it is quiet, and it only takes us a few minutes to get to the beach or The Grand Strand. All of the beaches have ample free parking and public access to the beach so there is no need to put up with the noise and crowded conditions at the other parks in the area. Obviously, we would (and will) stay here again. Oh, they also have a storage area where we leave our coach for a nominal fee when we drive home for the holidays.

Date of Stay:

Beautiful little park with camping, day use, pavillions for rental, fishing, boating, and even a small animal park area with goats, deer, sheep, and burros when we were there. The staff was pleasant and the park very peaceful. We only stayed 1 night as we had to be in Covington, LA the next day. Would definitely stay again. Downside was lack of internet access, no swimming, and many of the sights weren't very level.

Date of Stay:

We are a retired couple who enjoy space, peace, and quiet. This park provided lots of this. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days spent there on our trip from Arizona to South Carolina. We did miss having internet and I missed a pool because I like to swim as often as possible. The sights are big, treed, and quite level. There are many hiking trails, and there are 2 tennis courts. Town is close by and the "downtown" area is quite quaint and pretty. Would definitely stay again.
