Very friendly and experienced KOA office staff. Big rig sites are 70' pull-throughs with wide roads and easy turns. End sites have grass next to them, otherwise, it's gravel with oval curbed planters separating sites. Pull-through sites alternate which way you pull in as there are two sites to each utility tower. Took a bit to figure out that both rigs' sewer hoses fit into the lower portion of the tower (you both lay your hose ends into the funnel-shaped opening). Very little shade. Onsite nighttime security drives through the park...we experienced no problems. Some traffic and siren noise as Boulder Hwy is a very busy, multi-lane road.

Managers are some of the best we've met. Very responsive and camper focused. They are actively making changes bringing the campground in line with where it needs to be. (e.g. The laundry room access was just changed from limited hours, to open 24 hours). Dryers are very large and work efficiently. Washers clean well. Sites are gravel and fairly level. We stayed in the back row of the campground (Row H) and it was quiet. No problem pulling in or out with our 43' MH and toad. Internet was fast enough for email and general web browsing, but not for movies, etc. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Made reservations a few hours in advance over the phone with no problems at check-in. Park was busy so we were given a site close to the office that was just long enough for our motorhome. We put out the slides, but not the awning (it would have hit the trees). There are differences in length and available width (the tree locations can make it narrow) in the 50 amp sites. Lake was lovely and tranquil. WiFi was sometimes fast, sometimes very slow (we'd switch over to our MiFi). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We'd stay here again.

Earlier review still accurate. Quiet park this time of year. We would stay here again when in the area.
