This is a beautifully maintained and landscaped RV Resort and Cottage Community with a majority of seasonals in everything from travel trailers to park models. It really isn't a campground at all, so if you are looking for a "camping" experience then you've come to the wrong place. It is, however, very clean and has plenty of amenities including a pool and well equipped playground and splash pad for the kids. Contrary to some of the reviews, in our experience the staff was friendly and only asked that we not put more wood on our fire after midnight. There are a number of great tourist attractions close at hand as well. The price is a little steep in my opinion, but given the proximity to such a popular beach town, it isn't surprising. For those who are looking to pinch a penny, avoid the camp store. There is a small grocery store about 5 minutes away and there is local firewood available for about half the cost if you go to some of the "trading post" type stores run by the local First Nations.

I didn't enjoy this park as much as I have others due to how close together the lots were. We could here our neighbors talking in conversational tones while they were inside their camper next door. Two dogs in lots directly across from each other started barking every time they were both outside at the same time because they were only about 6 feet apart when on their tie-outs. I also felt like I was in the middle of another neighbor's fireside chat because of the close proximity. Having said that, it is clean, well maintained and there are lots of activities for the kids including pool/splashpad, jumping pillow, very cool play structure, waterslide, craft corner, life-size chess board and pedal car rentals. The owners are friendly enough, but expect rules to be followed explicitly. Not a bad thing, but it can be a bit tense. I wouldn't refuse to go back, but will not look to camp there again if other options are available.

We stayed here with another family for the May long weekend and were very happy with the experience. The staff escorted us to our lot and assisted with backing us in, which was helpful and appreciated. The site was large enough for my 28' travel trailer (31' from tongue to tail) but the services were spread apart a bit, which forced me to buy an extra length of water hose. This was surprisingly inexpensive for a campground. Family friendly and everyone was really helpful. My kids had a blast catching frogs in the pond and playing in the well equipped playground. The highlight of my weekend was when the owner did a second tour on the scheduled hay wagon ride that we missed by minutes the first time around. I have no doubt that we will be back next year.

The family who runs this park is very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool looked clean and well taken care of. It seems to serve as the community pool for lessons and aqua fitness classes. I am guessing that this was a more lively park in its day as there is a now an out-of-service waterslide at the front of the park. This is a park with a lot of potential that could use some renovation/upgrades. As an upshot, it is well situated near Ottawa.
