Double Dice RV Park, Elko, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Camped here and visited with friends. This park is all gravel and sets against the Humbolt River. There is a very active train in the drop off towards the river.... BUT I LOVE TRAINS, so the whistles did not bother me. They are improving this park with grassy areas at some sites (upgrade). Dog park is a gravel area only, no enclosure. We camped at Double Dice RV Park in a Truck Camper.

New Frontier RV Park, Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Camped here with 3 adults. Nice area with lots of walking space. Great enclosed dog park....EXCEPT..... campers had 2 dogs (rottie and pit bull) that jumped the fence after my puppy and small boston terrier. Park was quiet. Gravel sites are a bit unstable. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Andersen's RV Park, Long Beach, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

New owners (July 2015) are very rude and disrespectful. I have overheard them speaking to campers, and their staff. I will not stay here again and I plan on spreading the word that their behavior is not acceptable. We camped at Andersen's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cranberry RV Park, Long Beach, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park is the best. I love the community feel of staying here at Cranberry Park. The managers are awesome and friendly. Each site is kept clean and there is plenty of room. The restrooms are clean and neat. The rec hall is filled with all kinds of activities: pool table, television, books, puzzles and tables/chairs for a small party. My husband and I are returning to this park for long term. The beach is about 1/2 mile from the park, yet the park is protected from the coastal winds. There is a small cottage that can be rented out by guests. The cottage is cozy and clean. Love, love, love this place and the wonderful people. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Cranberry for your great management. We camped at Cranberry RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort Worden State Park (Beach campground), Port Townsend, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice state campground. BIG RIG friendly. The camping spots are huge and with plenty of room for all the chairs. Fire pits are built into the ground and you have a beautiful view of the water. Each site is limited to the RV and one vehicle. If you bring along another vehicle, you pay $10/day. Ouch! My husband and I live in our RV and that made our stay very expensive. The park has many attractions. Walking along the shoreline, visiting the historical park and Port Townsend is only a few miles away. The park is clean and the staff is friendly. Check in is odd. You drive your big rig to the main office at the Fort, park it if there is room and go into the registration. Then you drive the 1/2 mile down to the RV parking area. Just an odd set-up! I'd stay here again. We camped at Fort Worden State Park (Beach campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Point Hudson Resort & Marina, Port Townsend, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

It's hard to rate this campground. The parking is tight, yet you can maneuver around easily. This campground is all about LOCATION. You are right on the water and it is so beautiful that the close RV spaces just don't matter. My husband and I have been coming here for a few years and will continue to do so. It's close to town and you can walk everywhere. If you love marinas, this is the place for you to visit the docks and drool over the old and new boats moored there. If you are lucky enough to be staying during a thunderstorm, count your blessings. It's seriously beautiful. We've hit one 2 years in a row. The air is fresh, the water laps onto the shoreline and it takes you to a point of relaxation that is not possible anywhere else. Fog horns, ferries, sailboats and sea birds are constant during the day. There are a few restaurants very close by that have delicious food and of course the downtown area is filled with funky eateries and shops. We'll be back in spite of our neighbors being only a few feet away. This park is all about the location. There is a limited stay so call ahead. We camped at Point Hudson Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Evergreen Coho SKP Park - Escapees Park (members only), Chimacum, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This park is very nice. We were reluctant to stay here because of a review we had read. The park is clean, quiet and very accommodating. The staff was helpful and so were the people staying here. Everyone we met was friendly and made us feel at home. My husband and I will return, possibly for a few months next time. There are activities going on all the time and we were invited to attend. They are strict on their rules and that is why the park is so clean and efficient. Love this place and would stay long time, anytime. Thank you Evergreen Coho SKP's. You are awesome! We camped at Evergreen Coho SKP Park - Escapees Park (members only) in a Fifth Wheel.

Monroe Creek Campground & RV Park, Weiser, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very quiet park just north of Weiser, ID. Easy pull through sites and back in on upper level. The park is older, but well kept. I would stay here again. Only one draw back.... the well water smell is a tummy turner. Even the water to fill the washing machines in their laundry center smelled badly. When they water the grass in the late evening it is almost unbearable if you are outdoors or have windows open. We camped at Monroe Creek Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Anderson Camp , Eden, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Our rig was too big and hard to pull into the spot assigned. The grounds are nicely kept, but the restrooms were filthy. They are old and there was mold on the tiles and in corners. A rig next door to us had a very noisy air conditioner that was left on till the early hours of the night. I would stay here again with a different site and just avoid the bathrooms! We camped at Anderson Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

7th Ranch RV Camp, Garryowen, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park/campground was awesome. The views from the level, terraced pull throughs was spectacular. The staff was very friendly and the park was clean and well manicured. A very quiet park with the train down in the valley going through infrequently. I would make a special trip just to stay at this wonderful park again. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Owl's Nest Campground, Junction City, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 3 weeks and found it to be a very nice park. There are full timers here and the short stay campers. Enjoyed the visit, made some new friends, visited the local attractions. Laundry facility is very clean. Fairly quiet park with freeway sounds being minimal. Would love to stay again if we go to the area. We camped at Owl's Nest Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
