As the previous reviewer stated - noisy (trains and I-95). I will also add that the roads are very tight and some sites are almost impossible to get into with a Big Rig. Additionally, there is no WiFi (unlike some other Broward County Parks). Some of the sites (such as B12) have a sewer location that required 30 feet of hose! The restroom on the B road is rusted and badly in need of updating. The sites themselves are of a reasonable size and have asphalt. The utilities operated as they should and security seemed adequate. It is also the only campsite in the general area. We will not stay here again.

This park would rate a 10 if they had 50 amp service. We are a 'big rig' and 30 amps is just not enough. Since it was winter, we were able to manage; however, I think A/C would be a problem in the summer. Sites are large enough for a 42 ft. Motorcoach and the setting is lovely. There are also quite a few services in the area, so getting food, etc. is very easy. A good place to camp!

Sites are level and long enough; however, they are way too close to each other. We are so close to the next site that our awning cannot be opened. There is a nice concrete pad for the picnic table, but it is too close to the RV (must park the RV where it is because the site is too narrow; also told must do it this way by the owner) to be really usable. The laundry room is marginally clean; however, the washers and dryers are so rusty that I would not use them. The bathrooms are clean enough - nothing spectacular. The roads have lots of large potholes and are dirt and gravel, which fill with water when it rains hard (as it does in Florida).

Very lovely with the feel of a neighborhood. As a previous reviewer stated "this does not feel like an RV Park". The only negative is that it is a little pricey for a long stay. This is an ownership park and the owners around us made us feel very welcome. We would stay here again.

Date of Stay:

All the sites are spacious and the newer full hookup sites have sewer and cable. The setting is absolutely perfect with large trees and mature foliage. This was our second stay in this park and we will stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Sandy sites and dusty roads that are wet down with oily water regularly. This causes oil and grit to collect in your RV. The setting is nice and the location can't be topped. But, not a place I would want to stay for very long (fighting the dirt and oil gets old very fast). However, if you want to stay on Jekyll Island, it is the only game in town.

Date of Stay:

Long and wide concrete pads that have a picnic table make this a good overnight stop. As a previous person stated it is noisy (jets, music, etc.) so it is not a good long term stay place. No trees make this a very "sterile" environment.

Date of Stay:

Easy on and off I-295 with large level pull-through sites for overnight campers. Good place to stop for a few days. The roads are paved in the overnight area and the pads are asphalt. This keeps the dust down. There is road noise from I-295.

Date of Stay:

Rate is based on weekly 30 amp w/sewer. Not enough sites with 50amp so we had to settle for 30amp even though we made reservations way ahead of time. They may want to upgrade some more sites. Negatives: need more gravel at the sites. It rained a lot the week we were there and there were large puddles every where - including where our electric/sewer was. Cable TV is very poor (few channels and fuzzy); OTA is much better. Positives: spaces are large enough even for Big Rigs and the bathrooms are clean. Did not use the pool, but it was always clean. We would stay here again if in the area.

I don't know what noise the previous reviewer was addressing. We heard nothing. This is a great camping spot with easy access to I -40. Shady sites, great pull-thru sites. Very friendly staff, really nice and helpful. We will stay here again when in the area.

Rate reflects weekly rate. We had a creek side site that was just long enough for our 42 foot RV. The grass was a little sparse so we had some muddy area. The WiFi does not work very well, but this is not a deal breaker. The campground is close to I-40 and is very clean and neat. We will stay here again when in the area.

Date of Stay:

Not a bad place for a one night stop, but not long term. The location is a little remote and a little expensive for what you get. The bathrooms were very clean.

Date of Stay:

Great value and a nice park in general. Very convenient to the Twin Cities and with access to the necessary grocery stores, etc. The bathrooms were spotless and most sites are very spacious (there are a few tight ones). We will return again.

The campground roads and the 1/2 mile long road headed to the campground are both in needed of care. There are potholes and the campground roads are very narrow. This is not a big rig friendly campground. The pull thru really isn't because you have to unhook the tow to be able to fit if your rig is 40 feet or longer. The plus is that the staff were very friendly and competent. We will not stay here again. Not a good value.

Date of Stay:

Easy in and out from I-80 and long enough sites to allow the tow to stay connected. The sites are a little too tight and there are a few 'seasonals' that are very junky (that is why the 7). The campground is a little remote for grocery stores etc. We would stay here again if in the area.
