All gravel and dirt roads and sites with small grass/weed areas between with table. All sites are pull thru long, wide enough and level. Have both partial and FHU sites. Only a few medium trees so not much shade, but good for satellite signal. Off I-40 so no traffic noise and only 1 mile into town. Good Verizon cell signal and 4G mobile hot spot. TV antenna signal and free cable TV available. Free unsecured but weak wi-fi. Free high speed DSL available in office. Pool. Small kids playground. Office staff friendly and helpful. Small store and gift shop, very nice on site B-B-Q restaurant open in evenings. Not a destination resort, but we would stay there again. Rate is GS for partial hookups

Private membership RV resort. Paved main and gravel site roads lined with trees. Almost all the sites are seasonal members with park models and RVs. The traveler section has back-in sites with full hookups. Each site is wide and has grass, table, and fire rings. Weak 3G Verizon and cell signals; no TV antenna signals. Wi-Fi signal at the sites through outside service. Most of the travelers sites have clear sky for good satellite signal. Large swimming pool, playground, small lake and skate park. Large snack bar with breakfasts on the weekends along with events and entertainment on weekends. Friendly and helpful staff. Will stay there again. Rate for ROD; does not accept C2C, AOR, PA, or RPI.

The good; has a dozen big rig sites with 50 amp, W & S and cable and another dozen sites for small campers with 30 amp & water, no sewer and right on a lake cove. Pool, rec room and playground. Good Verizon cell & 4G signals. The bad; very high percentage of sites are park models or very long term campers, some nice, but many junky and overgrown. The traveler sites are all back in, wide and short, my 36 ft fiver hung over the back with the hitch at edge of road. We asked for satellite site and were escorted to a site. After all set up found no signal, was told by employee to move to another site and tell the office in the morning, I moved. In the morning I was told by the office that site was privately owned and I had to move again. That site was not marked but I could use the equally unlevel and overgrown sites on either side. All three sites off level by up to 4 inches. Park has changed ownership and name change to Adventure Resorts of America, but not the signs at the entrance. The ROD web site lists the new name but not the old name, PA and this review web site lists the old name and not the new name. Drove past the entrance twice looking for the new name. Wi-fi signal only at office. Park not well maintained, run down and unprofessional, the brochure was a hand full of bad copies. The staff was OK but had an “I don’t care attitude”. The grounds and sites were weedy and the pool was more green than clear. All this during peak season. Would not stay there again even for the ROD rate.

Date of Stay:

Nice large RV campground on state Hwy 1 with easy access and no traffic noise. Paved main and gravel site roads. Park is mostly wooded with only a few open sites. Almost all of the sites are park models and seasonals, with only a few available for travelers. Pull-through and back-in sites are wide, long and level with table, fire rings. All sites have 30 & 50 amp and sewer. Weak and slow Wi-Fi signal at sites. No satellite signal, good Verizon cell, 4G signals, and good cable. The pools, playground, rec center, store and scheduled activities are all by the park models section at the opposite end of park from travelers' sites. At the back of the park there is direct access to a Rail to Trail path that extends several miles to the beach. Park well maintained and staff friendly and helpful. Very nice and would stay there again. Cost is with a Good Sam during peak season.
