Spokane KOA, Spokane Valley, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older RV park with sites that are not really conducive to slide-outs. We were able to navigate around in the park, but the pull-thru spaces are quite tight and not very long. The worst thing about this park is that it is right by a main east/west railroad track and the trains blast their horns often in the middle of the night. The park is actually quite clean and the utilities all worked very well. The WiFi was poor, but that's to be expected in a larger park. I called about an hour before we got to the park to confirm our reservation and it went straight to voice-mail which was full. Upon arriving at the park I told the gal that her voice-mail was full and she gave me a vacant stare and said "oh". She obviously didn't care. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Dayton / Pomeroy / Blue Mountains KOA (AKA The Last Resort KOA), Pomeroy, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is the only RV park in the area, but we found it to be very acceptable. The roads in and around the park are dirt/gravel, but we had more than enough room to get into our campsite. The utilities all worked well, however there was no TV signal. The WiFi worked sporadically as we have found with most RV parks. If there were one complaint it would be that they let people into the park with huge dogs of which one was a Pit Bull. There were no incidents that I was aware of with these dogs, but with all of the small children around the park it made us nervous. On the positive side there are a lot of wild turkeys and even a band of Bighorn Sheep that mingle in and around the park. We camped at Dayton / Pomeroy / Blue Mountains KOA (AKA The Last Resort KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Kootenay River RV Park (Formerly Kootenay River RV Kampground), Castlegar, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for almost a week and loved it. It is an "adults only" RV park which was fine for the two of us. The location is great, right along the beautiful Kootenay River We had a long pull-through site and all of the utilities worked very well including the Wi-Fi. The people who ran the park were incredibly helpful and friendly. We camped at Kootenay River RV Park (Formerly Kootenay River RV Kampground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Cranbrook / St. Eugene KOA, Cranbrook, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

The park just opened this year. It's actually still under construction. All the utilities, being new, worked great. The staff was very helpful, they even put on a Christmas is July dinner for the guests. The park is very spacious and easy to maneuver around in. No matter if you have a pull-through or back-in site you won't have any trouble getting your rig parked. If I were say any negative about this park it would be that they've laid it out so all of the sites are facing the morning shade and the evening sun. It was quite hot when we stayed here and there wasn't any shade to be found in the evening. We camped at Cranbrook / St. Eugene KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Mt. Linton RV & Trailer Park, Metaline, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice little RV park. The owners are probably the most friendly and helpful of any park we've ever stayed in. The park has wide open spaces and is very easy to navigate. The utilities all worked well, however there is no WIFI. The only down side to this park are the mosquitos. This is a beautiful region of the country and we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Mt. Linton RV & Trailer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Golden Spike RV Park, Brigham City, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean little RV park with lots of grass and concrete pads for your rig. All of the utilities worked well. Not a lot of shade, which on a hot day would have been a problem, but it wasn't that warm the night that we stayed. My only complaint about this park is that it's pretty tight to get into and out of. Their are, what appear to be, full-timers that park their cars too close to the interior roads which makes it difficult to navigate. All in all it's a very nice park and if we were ever in the area we would stay here again. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

AB Camping & RV Park, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is a really nice RV park with lots of shade and green grass. Park was very easy to navigate around with our 5th wheel. Although we didn't use it, there's a BBQ restaurant at this RV park too. The utilities all worked well. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Colorado Springs KOA, Fountain, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

It was a nice park for the most part. The ladies at the front desk were very strict about the rules. Our spot was nice and long with plenty of room. The Wifi was non existent and the cable TV didn't work either. We stayed a week and it was a very convenient location with good freeway access. One down side is the fact that the dumpsters were always overflowing. We camped at Colorado Springs KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed one night and were very pleasantly surprised by this park. The front office staff went out of their way to be helpful. I can't think of anything that would have made our stay better. The spots were nice and large and easy to navigate into and out of. We camped at Grand Junction KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Hagerman RV Village, Hagerman, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We pulled in late so we never got to talk to the staff. The office wasn't open until 10:00 the next day so we were long gone by the time they opened. It's a nice clean park with pull-thru's. Just about every site has shade. I would recommend this park as a great place for a overnight stay. We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Fairmont RV Park, Anaconda, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The worst part of this park was the owner. I called to make a reservation and he proceeded to tell me that he had a spot for me but that he was going to bill my credit card and if I didn't show up it was tough luck. After we got to the park his demeanor was no better. Their web site says that they're a Good Sam park but he wouldn't accept Good Sam saying that they're no longer belong to Good Sam. He did extend me a 10% veteran's discount. He was grouchy the whole time we were there. The park is nice with quite a bit of room to navigate and get your rig parked. The utilities worked well except for the Wi-Fi, it didn't work at all. The sites were level and plenty wide enough, but short and hard to get our tow vehicle parked. As nice as the park is, I wouldn't stay here again just because of the poor customer service. We camped at Fairmont RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Benton RV Park, Fort Benton, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a quite small and cramped RV park. Most of the sites were taken up by semi-permanent residents. The harvest was on and there were a lot of custom cutters in the park. The grass was dead and the park had only dirt roads with very little gravel. The site we had was very narrow and a little hard to get into, however the owner took us out and helped us park. The utilities work okay except for the Wi-Fi, it hardly worked at all. The owner was friendly and easy to get along with. We camped at Benton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Willowbend Campground & Cabins, Maple Creek, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here three days while we visited the Cypress Hills. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a 30 amp pull through site and all of the utilities worked well except for the Wi-Fi, it was almost non-existent. The grass was dead, but it had been very hot and dry. The sites were nice and level, but roads around the park are dirt. The only real downside to the park is the fact that it's right on the main east-west Canadian rail line. The trains ran through all night sounding their whistles. We camped at Willowbend Campground & Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

River Valley RV Park, Langham, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the best RV parks that we've ever stayed in. It is certainly the cleanest. The grass was manicured and everything was spotless. Lots of room for RV's to pull in and park and all of the utilities worked great. The sites are very level and long. The night that we pulled in they had a fireworks show for all of the campers in the park. They called it Christmas in July. If there's a down side to this park, they don't take credit cards only cash or check. None the less, if we were ever in the Saskatoon area again I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. We camped at River Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Westerner Campground, Red Deer, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We really liked this RV park. It is well laid out with lots of room to get into and out of each RV spot. The roads are all paved and the sites are level. We found that all of the utilities worked well. We didn't use the laundry room, but it was very clean and neat. The park is very easy to find, it's right by the Red Deer Centrium hockey arena on the south end of town. There are two major RV dealers within walking distance. Pretty much all streets in Red Deer are under construction so getting around town was difficult There are a lot of full timers, but it's also very quiet. We camped at Westerner Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
