Nevada Treasure RV Resort & Spa, Pahrump, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Well this is no 10-10-10 park...with view from 10 thousand feet looks great, from 10 feet not so much. All the "tiki" furniture and umbrellas have seen better days and the grounds were generally unkempt. No restrooms, no showers, no cable....no way! They have the worlds worst internet, Tengo internet.... works off and on... Would not return. We camped at Nevada Treasure RV Resort & Spa in a Fifth Wheel.

Yreka RV Park, Yreka, California

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Only negatives are the wind and no dog park. Must have a fenced, off leash area. Does have good spaces, level, wide, long, good hook ups. Also has super nice folks that run the place. We would stop here again. We camped at Yreka RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Premier RV Resorts of Eugene Oregon, Coburg, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a crying shame: a beautiful park in the wrong place. You might as well camp on the off ramp. The freeway noise is ridiculous. Remember Oregon is one of a few states that allow pulling triples: 1 tractor 3 trailers, they push lots of air. Monthly spots look like an anthill, too many in too small a space, and still the noise. However, the dog parks are great. We camped at Premier RV Resorts of Eugene Oregon in a Fifth Wheel.

Roamer's Rest RV Park, Tualatin, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

In this case the people that run the place are a bit aloof or argumentative. Seems when an expensive big rig breaks the rules and runs a generator it's: "Oh, they are just here one day." Also, this place is laid out for little trailers and little class C rigs. If you have a good size 5er or travel trailer there is no place for your tow vehicle, very tight. The entrance is straight down hill, and you are supposed to park there to register? We camped at Roamer's Rest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bridgeview RV Resort, Grants Pass, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The lady that runs the place is just super nice. Seems like a lot of permanent people that don't follow the rules. Too much junk around and under their rigs. Biggest problem is the Hwy 5 is so close that you cannot hear the river, which is right at your feet. We camped at Bridgeview RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Bordertown Casino RV Resort, Reno, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This place is spotless: grass trimmed, paved sites and roads, screaming WiFi, good TV, people that work here are very nice, helpful, they care. I would stay here anytime I'm in the area. Has a fenced, off leash dog park. Take out from Casino restaurant was reasonable and tasty. Do not buy gas here. They stick it to you on the prices, and then add to it for credit and debit cards. Go one exit south to Stead and get fuel for a reasonable price. We camped at Bordertown Casino RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Same problem, rotten Tengo internet. AWFUL. KOA needs to smarten up...GET RID OF IT! This KOA is old, tight, gravel, lots of old broken down rigs. Sadly...KOA. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Limon KOA, Limon, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Typical KOA. Nice folks own it, but you wouldn't want to stay more than a day/night. Too many old and broken down full time rigs... don't even want to walk by them. Stop and go...too expensive for what you get. No dog park and little to no shade. We camped at Limon KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Camp A Way, Lincoln, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This place could be great but it is run by a bunch of kids, some owners and some just summer help. On the weekends the owners are no where to be found. The kids run the place and basically play all weekend. They agree to anything but never follow through: no bags at the dog park for three days, no paper towels in mens room for two days, no latch on stall in men's room for two weeks and still not fixed. The trees coat your vehicle and RV with pitch that ruins the paint. The kids drive golf cars all over the place coating your already sticky truck with dust. We would never return unless we could choose a spot way in advance. There are a couple with no trees overhead. Oh, and the the animals like dropping nuts on your RV at 3 AM. We camped at Camp A Way in a Tent Trailer.

Not bad at all. Shade, level site, pool, enclosed dog park, nice selection of stuff in the office. The staff was friendly and helpful. Owner took time to explain directions to us. We will stay here any time we pass through this area. Wi-Fi worked OK. We camped at Salina KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Corral RV Park, Dalhart, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

The price reflects what you get. They don't mind open sewers; no requirement to hook up properly. No dog park, train noise, this is barley OK for a stop over, 1 night only. No paper towels in the 1 restroom. I doubt we would ever return. We camped at Corral RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

J & H RV Park (55 + Park), Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Well let me list the reasons. The pull-through was worthless because utilities were in the middle and we had to unhook to reach them. The cinnamon rolls at 8 do not exist, the hot tub does not exist and the sites are volcanic dust - really dirty. The dog park is a total disaster, weeds and rocks and little else. It is way too expensive for what you get. Last time here. We camped at J & H RV Park (55 + Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Grants / Cibola Sands KOA, Grants, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The lady that runs this place is really very nice and breaks her back to make you welcome. She also provides meals delivered to your RV. Order in advance of when you check in. She seems to carry the whole thing as the male there was no help. Small enclosed dog park, gravel sites, trees at a minimum, no road noise to speak of. Great for an overnight stop. I don't remember the rate but it was very reasonable. We camped at Grants / Cibola Sands KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area, Show Low, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is FANTASTIC! It is spotless - all of it. The restrooms have private rooms with shower, toilet, sink, etc. The roads in and around are all paved, as well as the campsites. There are fire rings, some barbeques, full hook ups on Mallard loop and Redhead loop. Close to town. The Ranger and his wife were wonderful folks. I have never been to a nicer campground. The area it's in is just so peaceful. Please check it out. We camped at Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area in a Travel Trailer.

Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort (55+ park), El Mirage, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This place is run like a prison. Guards run around and write tickets for everything you can think of. NO common sense displayed. Dog parks are very shoddy, only 2 hours for big dogs in the heat of the day. Glad we got outta here before May! They cater to ankle bitters, and the people that own them, they don't like big dogs so we won't return. This is just NOT a friendly place, most that we camped near said they would not return. They charge for everything.... mediocre place I'd avoid it, go were people want you. We camped at Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
