Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $32.00

This park bills itself as a friendly peoples park and it's true! Amenities are excellent and it's located near Walmart and groceries. Camp-sites are pleasant. We camped at Woodsmoke Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Convenient to Interstate (3 minutes). Very pleasant with well laid out spacious sites, many with trees. Stayed overnight but would consider longer term stay in the future. We camped at Cherokee Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Kamper's Lodge Campground, Wilson, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the most pleasant RV campgrounds we have stayed in. The people are friendly and the spaces are extra wide. Internet works fine. It's also a short drive to Bill's Barbecue or Parker Brothers Barbecue (and other restaurants, of course). If you are traveling I-95 you'll actually save a few miles (some stop lights though) as I-95 arcs around the Wilson area. Highly recommended. Passport America rate is $17.50 Have stayed twice (and counting). We camped at Kamper's Lodge Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Ajo Heights RV Park, Ajo, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This is an excellent, clean park in a beautiful area, adjoining the Sonaron desert. There is also a cactus garden in the park with benches to sit on and observe the desert birds. All the amenities work fine and the bathrooms are exceptionally nice. There's a grocery store within walking distance and the town is very welcoming and often has little festivals and rodeo's. This area of Arizona has much to offer for the nature lover. I stayed for 3 months and look forward to returning. Closed during the hot summer. (The rate I quoted above is for a monthly rental). We camped at Ajo Heights RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
