Leon Valley Campground, Sparta, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is 5 miles away from the freeway, thus quiet....HOWEVER:

1. There is no internet access on sites, though advertised. The response..."Come up to the office". Not Acceptable Would not have booked if we had known

2. Some of the sites are NOT level. We tried but could not level ours. The lady who took our reservation and we talked to at the office was very pleasant. We would not stay there again. We camped at Leon Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Mountain View RV Park & Campground, Sundance, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

From our first conversation until we left nothing but the best. This campground, though small, has everything you need. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very easy to get to and to return to travel. The bathrooms were clean, showers were hot, the pool was being finished remodeling and very refreshing. Will stay here again when traveling We camped at Mountain View RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

The Virginian Lodge RV Resort, Jackson, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

Would have rated higher but (as stated) the initial impression was VERY BAD. We came in at about 10:30 am and told that we could not check in until 2:00 pm and to "Park in the Street". This campground does not understand campers' schedules and habits. We try to get to a site so that we can enjoy the day. We had a 2:00 pm rafting trip so could not check in until after 6:00 pm. From there though the experience was good. The sites are adequate. The bathrooms we clean (though showers VERY small), the hook-ups are dated but OK. Though close to everything, the lodge restaurant is closed at 9:00 pm. Will try elsewhere next time. We camped at The Virginian Lodge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Coachlight Inn & RV Park, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Good place to stop for the night. Sites were easy to get into and hook up. "Shade" is really not something you could say you have. Sites were level and it was quiet, though located near highway. Front staff friendly. Laundry room very reasonable and clean. The one shower room was adequate, though the shower was very dirty ( but functioned). The pool was down. For the money, it was worth it. I would return if traveling and needed a place to stop. We camped at Coachlight Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park, Crystal River, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. First site had many red ants and we were moved with no problems at all. Private and shaded lots. The pool was monitored to stop the dangerous actions of running, jumping, etc. Ice Cream Sundays both days and also fresh pop corn in the afternoon. Will return again. We camped at Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park in a Motorhome.
