Mayberry Campground, Mount Airy, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice place off the highway, we were on top of the hill so it was a bit breezy but I would definitely go back. When we arrived the was a little problem about our site being ready but they had it taken care of in about 10 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful, I had realized a week later that I had left my surge protector there and they were able to locate it and ship it back to me. We camped at Mayberry Campground in a Travel Trailer.

River's End Campground & RV Park, Tybee Island, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

Wow, this place was perfect for our getaway to Tybee & Savannah. Yes it looks to be a little close for some sites and we were right on the road but we like the location. Very convenient walk to River Beach, you could walk to North Beach but we took the quick drive as opposed to carrying everything. Staff was very helpful getting us to our sites and in and friendly when we were in the office, even communicating to us the paving of the road they were doing at the time. Easy in and out to get to the main part of the island and Savannah. We would definitely go back again!! We camped at River's End Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Charlotte / Fort Mill KOA, Fort Mill, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed overnight found everything to be fine, check in was a little tight in the lot since you check in at the convenience store out front but other than that it was great. Gas station and convenience store out front with a liquor store on one side and a bar on the other that are part of the campground. We camped at Charlotte / Fort Mill KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Traverse City KOA, Buckley, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean nice park, many great features, had a deluxe site with the concrete pad and the metal patio table and chairs. Great for a centralized location to visit the area. First park I have been to that had a track for RC Cars and they rent them too. Nice staff and friendly people. We camped at Traverse City KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Allendale / West Grand Rapids KOA, Allendale, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

It is under new ownership and they are trying to get the infrastructure up to standards. Other than the bugs due to the damp Summer this was an excellent base camp for the area. WiFi and Cell Reception was spotty but from our understanding the WiFi issue is their service provider more than the park itself. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Allendale / West Grand Rapids KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Kalyumet Campground, Lucinda, Pennsylvania

Wonderful campground with friendly staff, stayed here on their Christmas weekend and was impressed with the effort put in for everyone to enjoy. Close to Cook Forest and plenty of activities going on with a nice Putt-putt course. Nice sites in a partially wooded setting, looking forward to a return trip next year. We camped at Kalyumet Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Shenango Valley RV Park, Transfer, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

All I can say is wow, this is really a wonderful place. Everyone was accommodating and friendly. Usually when a weekender goes to a park that has large contingent of seasonal campers, they are usually looked down on. Not here, everyone is waving and saying hi, we even met a couple that full time there and they took us around on their golf cart and gave us the lay of the land. It made us want to come back as soon as we can. The Wi-Fi worked well all weekend, cable TV and full hookups, not much more could you ask for. They have a small snack bar with pretty good pizza. We will definitely be back to visit. We camped at Shenango Valley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

American Heritage RV Park, Williamsburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest campgrounds i have been to. Concrete pads, paved roads and area around pad. Level easy access to all hookups. Some sites are tight to each other but nothing to complain about. They were working on additional sites and upgrades all day long. It was nice to see the care they take in doing it right. The nicest bathhouse I have seen by far. We camped at American Heritage RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cedar Haven Campground, Freeport, Maine

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Some sites are a little tight between trees but a great overall experience. Just upgraded the electric and new pedestals with photocell operated nightlights in them. Some new full hookups sites, the camp host and his wife could not have been more friendlier and helpful to deal with and talk to. They are working to build something special and it is well on its way. Close to Freeport and the shops and easy access to the highway. We camped at Cedar Haven Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Hadley's Point Campground, Bar Harbor, Maine

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly staff, it was early in the season and they were busy getting ready for summer. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia and other activities. The campground was well maintained and clean and they just added a section of new cabins for the season that are impressive looking. The full hookup sites were on the smaller side but that would not stop us from coming back again. We camped at Hadley's Point Campground in a Travel Trailer.
