Iowa State Fairgrounds, Des Moines, Iowa

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The park is HUGE. Most of the 1800 sites are unlevel. It would be very hard to stay here when it was crowded.

We stayed here the end of the season the park closes today.

We will come again for sure. We camped at Iowa State Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Lake Farm County Park, Madison, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here before but this time the mosquitoes were just awful. I am covered in bites. Everytime you step out they swarm and follow you back inside. We worked downtown and did not have the problem there. We didn't even walk around outside let alone use any of the trails or dog park. Leaving as soon as possible. We camped at Lake Farm County Park in a Motorhome.

Illinois Beach State Park, Zion, Illinois

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This park is right on Lake Michigan it has an area with pine trees that is wonderful. Nice breeze lots of shade.
They seem to be tearing something down close by as there is quite a lot of daytime noise but it didn't really bother us too much.
There is a bike trail right adjacent to the park we are going for a bike ride in a little while. We camped at Illinois Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Convenient grocery store. The park is really right in town. It's a small town but still everything is nearby.

The owner lives on-site. The park is very clean. It's in a commercial area and is old but meticulous. The owner met us and helped us park. We camped at Holt's Mobile Home Park in a Motorhome.

Mission RV Park, El Paso, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

They have a very nice indoor pool, old but well maintained. The park is older but easy to get around in a big rig. Office people are always nice. 2 dog limit. Highway access is a little difficult as it is under construction but not bad. We stay here every time we drive through. We camped at Mission RV Park in a Motorhome.

Butterfield RV Resort & Observatory, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Post office right across the street. Safeway right next door. A lot of full timers or seasonal, but very clean, well maintained, right off the highway. We would stay here again. Big rig friendly sites are long enough for 40' and trailer. We camped at Butterfield RV Resort & Observatory in a Motorhome.

Tucson / Lazydays KOA, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is the nicest KOA park we've stayed in. Little to no trees for shade but very clean. Beautiful pool, hot tub. Exercise room. Dog run. Lazydays RV is right next door. Decent RV store, don't stock much but willing to order. Lazydays RV service is very slow they do not keep their promises and bumped us for service we had scheduled three weeks in advance to service a unit they just sold. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Pony Express RV Resort, North Salt Lake, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We love this park. They are located right on the bike or running trail in North Salt Lake. It is a new park so the trees are small. The pool is very seasonal and quite small. The office staff is very friendly. The gate going in and out is large and easy to use. We camped at Pony Express RV Resort in a Motorhome.
