We enjoyed our visit here. This lake is in a swamp type area with moss on the trees and plenty to see. We had a great time and the park has been recently renovated. Unfortunately it was 100+ degrees, so we did not get to spend much outdoor time in the afternoon. There is a tour boat at the park that tours at 10am, 12pm , 2pm and 4pm for $15 per adult and $13 for children. This is the 4th state park we have visited in the last 6 weeks and have yet to be dissapointed.

We enjoyed this campground. They had 50ft campsites (pull-through), with water, electricity and sewer. There are also trailer dump stations for the non sewer sites. It has a group recreation hall for rent for family reunions.; a fish-cleaning facility; a launching ramp; a playground; and 2 trails. Our kids loved the boating we did with some friends of ours. The lake is about 1000 acres. No limits on boat speeds.

We enjoyed this park. The lake was a very small lake, but the kids enjoyed the paddle boats and swimming. Lots of trails and spaces. A busy park, you must reserve at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure a weekend site. Park workers were are friendly and helpful. The night stay was very relaxing and the raccoons were fun to watch at dusk. We expect to return next year to this park.

Our stay was great. Not a busy park, but plenty to do. We enjoyed the fact it was not a park with too many sites. The lake was 88 acres and only for family activities and fishing. Motor boats only at idle speed. The scenery was excellent and the park employees were are very helpfull and nice. Will be back in a few weeks before school starts. The kids all enjoyed the trails and swimming.
