Stayed in Area 1 best for larger rvs especially with slide outs.Access to sites all over park is scary as the dead trees along the roads can easily rip into your roof or sidewall.Like all parks in Ontario roads are not very wide for todays bigger rvs and the parks wont do any cutting of branches.Turns at the end of each road too tight as well as trees too close at many sites Beautiful sight when weather is good but cold when not sunny.

Nice pull through site,Washrooms clean and well maintained.Noise from highway but tolerable.Small park but nice. Will definitely revisit.

Nice location on lake. Train runs through campground. Our site was big but others small. Washrooms small, dirty every thing was rusty.Garbage cans over flowing. Park right along hwy and noisy. Seems run down and not modernized. Not worth $46.00 a night and will not return.

Date of Stay:

Park large and shady.People constantly pulling through empty lots for shortcuts to their site.Numerous people changed sites because staff have no idea what sites are like.Dead trees all around should be felled.Washrooms dated and taps turn opposite to turn on and off.Car parking at washrooms prevent RVs from getting around park on check in and leaving.Playground next to dump station. Not much room to turn at dump station which was overflowing and muddy. If two or more RVs are trying to dump you cannot leave until they are finished as exit road is too skinny.

Nice park, great price, good view of lake, some sites close together,Fire ring too big and may cause problems when departing if park is full .Very clean showers and washroom.

Best KOA I have stayed at.Sites are long and spacious.Showers clean and also large all are individual. Many activities at camp.Recomend this KOA to any one.

Park is very clean and well maintained.Sites are wide and services are good.Lots of activities available.Gas stations and restaurants are close by.Interstate nearby is noisy,Golf cart rentals cause problems as parents let young people drive them and treat them as toys not vehicles.Rate reasonable but would not stay here on weekend as rates jump up $14.00 per night, and that's for the same site and amenities, does not seem fair.

Campsite large, need at least 75 feet of cord. Trees along all roads low and could gouge your roof, corners are especially tight. Some site good for large rv with slides but many not. Constant traffic along all roads with many speeding, no one around to warn people of speed. Many sites seem to have multiple families on them so cars do poke out onto road. Washroom lights on timer; they do go out while in there. Showers have no control for temp and you have to press button at least 8 times for complete shower.

Camped in area 1,best for big rigs,Beautiful view of lake, large open sites, showers and restrooms very clean.Road into area 1 very skinny with many dead tree branches that can tear up your roof or scatch the sides of your trailer.Beautiful long beach but covered in dead trees,be careful where you walk.Lots of history about campground so visit the information building.

By far nicest KOA I have stayed in. New this year. Washrooms have individual shower toilet and sink. Pool very large, sites level and easy access. Very helpful hosts. All KOAs should follow this standard.

Good location north of Minneapolis. Sites are level most pull-through. Showers are small and cramped and could use upgrade. Every time I camp here garbage is overflowing bins. Everyone seems to drive to washrooms and shower when it is so close.

Nice overnight campground. Sites level, washrooms clean. Road noise on both sides.

Nice campground. Plenty of room. Nice pool, clean washrooms, friendly staff. Good cheap breakfast. Close to Badlands loop.

Worst KOA ,tried to put me in $70 a night site. Ended up in older pull-through. Very tight; had to back out, as trees were to close. Helpful staff and clean washrooms. Would not stay again.

Date of Stay:

Campground staff helpful and friendly. Sites are all gravel. Many seasonal residents. Mostly it's a fishing camp.
