I would have rated the park higher, but the gravel sites are not all real level and after a heavy rain some of them retain water. (Our site was OK, but the one next to us had standing water on both sides of the gravel pad). Gravel roads cause some dust kicking up when vehicles travel down them.

This was our third time here. Twice just passing through overnight and once before for a week. Beautiful park. Off the beaten path. Excellent amenities, extremely clean and well maintained. Only negatives are: it can be a bit tight getting on/off the site with a long setup as the streets are a little narrow, and the sites are somewhat narrow (but not bad). We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for a week in one of the Premium sites. The site had a large concrete patio, patio table and chairs, a nice Weber grill and a brick fire pit. We had an excellent shot of the Southern sky for satellite reception. As others have stated, this is the nicest KOA we have been in. We had our 40ft 5th wheel, 1 ton dually truck, and a mini van on the site with no problems. The park is a little strangely laid out with no real parking area for registration, and the turns around the office area are a little tight, but manageable. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the best RV park we have been in. We were snowbirding from Nov through March. The park is beautifully landscaped with tropical trees and bushes, has good sized concrete pads, asphalt roads, and excellent amenities. The pool is heated to 87 degrees year round, and contrary to what another recent poster submitted everything in the fitness room worked, except for a short period when the new treadmill didn't work because the installer cut the power cord. There is also a 300 foot fishing pier. They have numerous activities over the winter months, a full time activities director, trips, pot luck dinners, and parties of all types. We used the central "gathering area/firepit" almost every evening to meetup with friends and just unwind and talk. We already have reservations to return this coming winter.

Rate is based on weekly rate. Beautiful RV park. Off the main roads, but close to I-95. You can hear the traffic noise, but it didn't bother us at all. Paved roads and concrete sites. Beautifully manicured and well taken care of park. We will definitely stay here again.

Except for the closeness to I95, this is an excellent RV park. We were here for a month and a half getting repairs done on our RV by the big RV dealer across the highway. Super friendly managers, great staff, very good amenities and facilities. Very good, well equipped exercise room, lots of "free" breakfasts and other meals/specials. We were on a pull thru concrete site in the new section of the park. Wi-Fi signal was very good most of the time, but slowed down occasionally (think someone was trying to stream movies). Close to a large RV dealer for parts and service, lots of nearby restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed here for 4 days with grandchildren. The park is clean, with easy access off I-81. Utilities were centrally located and everything functioned well. While there was no pool, there was a splash pad that the grandkids loved and a nice playground (right across the street from us). The attendant escorting me to my site took me down the wrong road and then brought me back around on a road with a turn I could not make. I had to do some creative backing (with no assistance) to get out to a parking lot I could turn around in. Otherwise everything was OK - typical KOA.

Great park close to lots of Pigeon Forge attractions. As others have mentioned, the entrance is easy to miss if not watching carefully. GPS can mislead you. Interior roads are a mix of paved and gravel. There are some premium concrete sites, but most sites are gravel. Wifi was spotty. We used our cellular Mifi for an internet connection. Cell phone service on Verizon was good. We were here for a rally and the venues for that purpose are very good. We would definitely come back here again.

I would have rated the park a little higher, but there are a few issues. 1. Overpriced for what you get. 2. No separation from costly "Premium Full Hook Up" sites and overcrowded, overwhelmed tent sites. I'm not anti-tent, but allowing numerous cars to be parked almost halfway on the roadways (it was difficult to back out of my site with my truck), more than two tents per site, and 4 to 5 people per tent, spread across 3 tent sites meant there were more than 20 people on 3 sites and they had no idea of campground etiquette and were crossing through our site to get to the restrooms (and yes, I did ask them not to do that). To the campground's credit, they did eventually have this group move two of their bigger tents to another tent area. That size group was just way too much for the area they were in. 3. The roadways are very tight (even without cars parked halfway in them). 4. Nowhere near the beach to park a vehicle (needed if you have a handicap). On a positive note, the campground is clean, nicely landscaped, the site we were on was nice with a picnic table, concrete patio, and fire ring, and the staff was very friendly. They have a well stocked camp store and a nice small restaurant on site. We probably would not stay here again.

Stayed here while visiting relatives in the OKC area. Easy to get to, very close to two interstates. That's a blessing and a negative, however. Easy getting in and out to hiways, but a bit noisy. Our site was a nice long pull-thru. Interestingly, had to enter from the main road going by the park. No way into our site once in the park unless you came in backwards. Excellent amenities in the park except for the advertised, but useless Wi-Fi. Although we could connect to any of three repeaters, we couldn't even do simple email; just way too slow. They definitely need to work on that service. Also, strangely we had no picnic table (most others did). Not a big deal this trip because the weather wasn't real cooperative for outdoor dining. I would have rated the park a little higher, but I was trying to do some work while travelling, so really needed the Wi-Fi. Ended up having to use my Verizon Mi-Fi and the associated data usage. We probably will try another park on our next trip to OKC.

This is a small, no frills (no pool, gym, bath house, playground) park designed for overnight travel stays. Sites are level, gravel, with terrific water pressure and excellent Wi-Fi. The owner is very nice, friendly, and helpful. Close to Sawmill Café (nice southern comfort food buffet), fuel, Walmart, fast food, and other businesses. We would definitely stay here again.

Lot of repair work on the entrance road. The entrance was on a detour onto one of the inner roadways. This caused a four vehicle backup on the narrow roadway. Took several minutes for someone to come up and say it was OK to stay where we were and make the trek to the office. The girl that helped me was not exactly a ray of sunshine. I would give her a 5 on a 1 to 10 scale for cheerfulness. No escort to our site like I'm accustomed to here. Site was level, long, and easy to get in and out of. It was a little tight getting out of the CG thru the temporary exit due to the road alignment.

The previous posts all have valid points. However, there are a lot of good things about this campground also. I did some investigating and talked to a lot of the seasonal campers. The park is gradually making a lot of improvements. Electrical service was upgraded throughout the campground over the past couple of years. The wifi is being upgraded (I got really fast service). Sites are being upgraded with fresh gravel. Sites are big for the most part. The lake is nice and the mini- golf is scheduled for rebuild next spring. They serve dinner and breakfast on the weekends. Food is very good and plentiful. Definitely a transitional state right now. Yes, very predominately seasonal campers, but they are very friendly. The entry road is rough, but the campground tries to maintain it at their expense although it is a county road. It was just graded when we arrived, but a big thunderstorm washed a lot of gravel out the next day. Not a "high class" resort, but we would stay here again. Would rate it higher as more improvements are made.

We love staying here. Close to so many historical areas, shopping, and good restaurants. I would rate it higher, but they need to raise the canopies on several of the pine trees so they aren't hitting the top of the RVs and the bushes in the middle of the sites makes tow vehicle parking tight. We will definitely stay here again (and again).

This is a mostly terrific park away from the hustle bustle of I-95. The staff are excellent, the grounds are nice, and most sites are fairly level and good size. Their activities for the kids on Easter weekend were terrific. Unfortunately, the price to stay here is just getting too expensive. We used to come here 3 or 4 times a year, but now only come for our Spring shakedown trip because it's convenient.
