Stayed here while visiting relatives in the OKC area. Easy to get to, very close to two interstates. That's a blessing and a negative, however. Easy getting in and out to hiways, but a bit noisy. Our site was a nice long pull-thru. Interestingly, had to enter from the main road going by the park. No way into our site once in the park unless you came in backwards. Excellent amenities in the park except for the advertised, but useless Wi-Fi. Although we could connect to any of three repeaters, we couldn't even do simple email; just way too slow. They definitely need to work on that service. Also, strangely we had no picnic table (most others did). Not a big deal this trip because the weather wasn't real cooperative for outdoor dining. I would have rated the park a little higher, but I was trying to do some work while travelling, so really needed the Wi-Fi. Ended up having to use my Verizon Mi-Fi and the associated data usage. We probably will try another park on our next trip to OKC.

This is a small, no frills (no pool, gym, bath house, playground) park designed for overnight travel stays. Sites are level, gravel, with terrific water pressure and excellent Wi-Fi. The owner is very nice, friendly, and helpful. Close to Sawmill Café (nice southern comfort food buffet), fuel, Walmart, fast food, and other businesses. We would definitely stay here again.

Lot of repair work on the entrance road. The entrance was on a detour onto one of the inner roadways. This caused a four vehicle backup on the narrow roadway. Took several minutes for someone to come up and say it was OK to stay where we were and make the trek to the office. The girl that helped me was not exactly a ray of sunshine. I would give her a 5 on a 1 to 10 scale for cheerfulness. No escort to our site like I'm accustomed to here. Site was level, long, and easy to get in and out of. It was a little tight getting out of the CG thru the temporary exit due to the road alignment.

The previous posts all have valid points. However, there are a lot of good things about this campground also. I did some investigating and talked to a lot of the seasonal campers. The park is gradually making a lot of improvements. Electrical service was upgraded throughout the campground over the past couple of years. The wifi is being upgraded (I got really fast service). Sites are being upgraded with fresh gravel. Sites are big for the most part. The lake is nice and the mini- golf is scheduled for rebuild next spring. They serve dinner and breakfast on the weekends. Food is very good and plentiful. Definitely a transitional state right now. Yes, very predominately seasonal campers, but they are very friendly. The entry road is rough, but the campground tries to maintain it at their expense although it is a county road. It was just graded when we arrived, but a big thunderstorm washed a lot of gravel out the next day. Not a "high class" resort, but we would stay here again. Would rate it higher as more improvements are made.

We love staying here. Close to so many historical areas, shopping, and good restaurants. I would rate it higher, but they need to raise the canopies on several of the pine trees so they aren't hitting the top of the RVs and the bushes in the middle of the sites makes tow vehicle parking tight. We will definitely stay here again (and again).

This is a mostly terrific park away from the hustle bustle of I-95. The staff are excellent, the grounds are nice, and most sites are fairly level and good size. Their activities for the kids on Easter weekend were terrific. Unfortunately, the price to stay here is just getting too expensive. We used to come here 3 or 4 times a year, but now only come for our Spring shakedown trip because it's convenient.

This could be a very nice park. It is close to Fayetteville and for us, was very convenient for visiting our son. It needs three things to get a higher rating. One, the entry road is dirt and is rough. If it had rained while we were there it would have been a mess. Two, they need a concrete pad at each site. The ground is a combination dirt/sand that sticks to everything. It's nearly impossible to keep it out of the RV. Three, they need more grass. The area we were in, near the front was almost completely dirt sites with dirt in between the sites. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly, the grounds were very clean, and the recently renovated restrooms were nice. Our site was large, with plenty of room. We would stay here again, but it would be our second choice in the area.

We love this park. Recent interior roadway paving has made it even better. It's close to Colonial Williamsburg and lots of shops and places to eat. If they would cut a few more trees that are too close to tight turns and have some limbs too low, I would rate it a 10.

Although a lot of improvements have been made to this park, for the price, I expect more. I can stay at a Good Sam 10/10/10 rated RV park in Williamsburg for less cost and get a concrete pad and patio with brand new asphalt roadways. At this KOA, most of the sites are gravel and the asphalt roadways need repair. Also, I reported a problem with a loose sewer connection the first day we were here and it was never taken care of. They need a better system for tracking maintenance requirements. Overall the park is still good and we would stay here again, but it's not our first choice anymore.

This is a very nice park! I would have rated it a 10, except the roads are a little narrow and it is tight getting a 40ft 5th wheel and long-bed tow vehicle straight onto the site without pulling through and backing up. Otherwise everything here is exceptional! Highly recommended.

Rate reflects Passport America rate. We intended to just stay here overnight on our way further south, but our traveling companion's tow vehicle had a major mechanical problem and we ended up being here for five nights. The owners were extremely helpful and gave our friends the Passport rate, also. I would rate the campground higher if it had concrete pads, pool, etc. Not a real pretty campground, but has the basics. Not a resort destination, but is a great stop-in during travel spot.

What a hidden jewel! We attended an owner's club rally here and were pleasantly surprised by the facilities and site locations. The grounds were well maintained and the sites backing to the lake were very nice (although not real level). I would have rated this place a 10 if the sites were a little more level and if the water hookups weren't so far apart (fortunately, we have a long hose). Best county park I've seen.

Park is actually in Redfield, about 15 miles north of Pine Bluff. We had to delay getting in by a day and a call to the campground connected us to a very pleasant host who changed our reservation/arrival date. Well maintained Corps of Engineers park with nice sites right on the Arkansas River. Our site was a little tight to get into with a 40 foot fifth wheel, but not terribly difficult. Great riverfront location, very quiet and peaceful. Sites are paved/concrete, with a covered picnic table, fire ring/grille, and movable post for hanging a light or trashbag at every site. No sewer, but there was a dumpsite on the way out - probably too tight for us to get into, so we didn't try. Only real negative was the horseflies - big guys that were out primarily in the early mornings.

What a gem! Lovely, small park. Hosts were super helpful and friendly. Escorted us to our pull through site, helped us get in, and stayed to make sure everything was working correctly. Site was beautifully manicured, level, and long. Nice dog walk. Paved roadways, all interior lights were working - just overall extremely nice. When we left the next morning, the host checked the exit roadway to make sure no traffic was coming around the corner. Five-star service in my opinion. Only negative (if it's a negative) was that the campground is on a hill, so if you're out for a walk, you will have to go uphill some. We would definitely stay here again.

Good place if you need a base of operations for things you are doing in the area. Not a resort/destination type of RV park. No pool or picnic tables, and the sites in the older section are small, but they are putting in a new section with larger, long pull-through sites. Although there were a lot of semi-permanent workers, it was quiet and the other campers are very friendly. Nice, friendly staff. We would stay here again.
