Hart Ranch Camping Resort, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This is a members park. If you become a member it is a lot less expensive, $8 per night. There is a swimming pool, three hot tubs, entertainment EVERY NIGHT; they entertain the different ages of children. It is a family type park. They have a pet section where you are free to walk the pet. There is card games to play, casino nights, music nights for the parents, water aerobics for adults 6 days a week; volleyball in the pool. Things are clean and organized. One can get married and have the reception in the shelters. They have a restaurant open daily and serves great food. Great place to bring children of any age. They can drive their bikes on the roads; have their special activities, etc. Always something to participate in if desired. ALL SITES ARE CEMENT and straight. Plenty of comfort stations to take showers, wash and dry clothes in. They are cleaned every day. Great experience. Consider coming to visit for the first time, special rate. We camped at Hart Ranch Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Hart Ranch is only 14 miles from Rapid City, so it's very easy to get anything you need. There is a Hart Mart that carries some foods that one might need in a pinch to get by. There are pool tables, pickleball courts, tennis courts, miniature golf, gas pump w/some groceries. Call 605 399 2582 or 605 737 5360-Sales Dept. They will give you a special rate to come and visit Hart Ranch if you haven't been here before.

Mesa Verde RV Park, Wolfforth, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

We were in the back, new area, and it was very roomy. Nice and easy to park and exit. Pull thru had plenty of room for 44' motorhome and car pulled up after unhooked. No trees in the way. The streets are nice flat gravel. Friendly person at check in. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Park in a Motorhome.

Black Bart's RV Park, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The roads and sites need repair. Location is good. Needs some TLC. Lots of full timers right in front, they should be in the back, out of the way. The sewer connection was using a piece of cement hooked to a metal handle. Very hard to connect. One nice thing: We went to the Steak House and experienced singing waiters and waitresses. That was excellent, the food as well. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

We drove to Sedona two days in a row and did sight seeing there. The sunsets are absolutely breath taking. Downtown shops are fun to go through and different, not the usual. They have a Holy Cross Chapel which is beautiful and then go on top of the hill and wait for the sunset. It's well worth the wait. There were 100 people there on the 28th of Sept. Flagstaff is a nice town to run errands.

Jim & Mary's RV Park, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We had heard so much about this RV park and finally they weren't full when we called so we stayed there. It was a great friendly place, people were outside their rigs, talking, meeting, and laughing with one another. It was a very positive experience and I would go there again in a heart beat. Thanks for the great attitude when we asked if you could trim some of the pine tree branches, so we could get our slide to go out!! We camped at Jim & Mary's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hart Ranch Camping Resort, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

My husband and I are full time RVers. We have asked that Hart Ranch receive all packages being sent to us for weeks ahead. When we arrived, we received EVERY package, as requested. The manager is wonderfu to work with and so obliging when asked a favor. One thing we said when we arrived is the fact that there is SO much space between lots, and you are not bumping into your neighbor at all. The park is clean with MANY amenities which RVers really enjoy and makes it such a family experience. The lots all have cement pads too, so you can eat outside very easily, even with the RV parked on the pad. We camped at Hart Ranch Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Snow to Sun, Weslaco, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Not a very clean park. Not very appealing when you drive in. Friendly staff working in office and manager is very efficient. They mix motor homes with park models, so that makes the park model lots a lot smaller in size. Pads are very small, and can't put a picnic table on most of them. Picnic table not provided. There is happy hour five days a week 3-4:30pm and dance every Sat. night. So if you like to dance, you might check it out. You have to pay extra for water and electricity, besides rent. We camped at Snow to Sun in a Motorhome.
