Petoskey RV Resort, Bay Harbor, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $89.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed a week overlooking the new section of the park. Site was level and long enough for our tow car. Electric and cable worked fine but water was an issue. No water flow, maybe 1 to 2 gallons a minute. Washer wouldn't work due to inadequate water supply. We used the on board pump and tank for water. WiFi worked ok you just had to sign in each day. Fire rings at all sites with lots of smoke so we stayed closed up with the ac on. They allow two dogs but we had 4 next to us barking all the time. Advised management of these issues but they didn't do anything. Unsupervised kids in the club house, saw a couple beating on the pool table with pool sticks. We will not come back to this park, ever. We camped at Petoskey RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Eastpointe RV Resort, Grand Haven, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

The park is great. The concrete pads are large and level, interior roads are paved an smooth. A fire pit and picnic table are provided and wood is available for the camp store. Cable and Internet work wonderful but you have to have a digital TV. The only down side is its located right next door to a sewage treatment plant. We were in spot 121 which is the on the opposite end and only smelled it a couple times but I would have been really upset if I was at the other end, driving out the gate you really notice it. We camped at Eastpointe RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Good park for a short stay to visit pensacola. Paved level sites. Friendly staff that provided directions. Power was fine, cable was limited as well as the wifi. Pool was nice but small. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pla-Mor Campground, Inc., Bremen, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 4 nights to tour the area and visit the Newmar factory. We parked In the pull thru area on site 89P. Site was level and gravel and long, didn't have to unhook toad. WiFi was marginal and cable worked but limited stations. Verizon signal was only 1 bar. Interior roads were dirt so lots of dust. No restrooms or showers in the area we parked and lots of seasonal campers. Trains seem to run every couple hours so lots of train noise and horns at the crossings which were close. They have a pool and miniature golf. We camped at Pla-Mor Campground, Inc. in a Motorhome.

The Great Outdoors RV Resort, Franklin, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed a week in spot 27. The site was gravel and fairly level and long enough for the coach and the car if we parked sideways. Cable worked, 48 channels. WiFi is advertised at 50mps, we got 2mps the whole week. No verizon signal for the jetpak and the phone was spotty. Road noise was terrible. They offered to move us but with the rain, didn't feel like moving. With the windows closed and the a/c running it wasn't bad. rates. The site had a slope so you we going down hill if you sat outside. The sites had some space between each other but we didn't have anyone next to us but they looked close. All back in sites. They did assist in parking. The sites are on the side of a hill so they are at different levels. Franklin was a nice area but we are not planning on going back. We camped at The Great Outdoors RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Crossing Creeks RV Resort (formerly Mountain View RV Resort), Blairsville, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed a week at Crossing Creek. Nice wide concrete pads and long enough for most class A's pulling a toad. WiFi was good but spotty. 5mps and 2mps upload. Cable was a box with a cord you ran through an open window so we didn't use it. Small pool and spa was nice except for the kids with the float tubes on the weekend, pool is to small for that. Very friendly staff and great landscaping around the buildings. Crossing Creek is an owner park with lots for sale. Phase two is going in now with lots around 70k. We camped at Crossing Creeks RV Resort (formerly Mountain View RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

CreekFire Motor Ranch, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

It is a very nice and new place to go camping in your travel trailer or 5 wheel, it is not set up for Class A motorhomes. The days we camped there is was cold and rainy so we didn't use the pool but I did walk over and it looks like a very nice area. The laundry area was clean and a wash was 2.00 and dry was 1.75 and they take credit cards. We paid for a pull through concrete pad. The pad was nine (9) feet wide but long enough for the motorhome and toad. Half was up the pad is another pad that has a picnic table on it and lines up with a door on a trailer or 5 wheel and a fire pit. Our door lined up in the grass and so we tracked grass and mud into the coach and since the pad was only 9 feet the coach took up all the room. They weren't thinking of Class A's when they laid out the park. Wi-Fi worked good but no cable TV. Think we got about 8 stations on the over the air antenna. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Motorhome.

Cecil Bay RV Park, Cecil, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one night on our way to Perry. Easy off and on I-75. Off the highway so didn't have to much road noise. Had an issue with 50 amp power at the pole and just used 30 amp. WiFi didn't work for us only connected for about 5 minutes when we first arrived. For a one night stop it was fine and would stay there again. We camped at Cecil Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Absaroka Bay RV Park, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The campground was in a good location from Cody. The sites are pull through but short. We parked next to a 5th wheel and if they hadn't left the day before we would have had to ask them to move there truck because there was no way we could have gotten out of our spot. Spots are very close and our neighbors were right under our window when they were outside. The wifi worked good and we had satellite for TV. We camped at Absaroka Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain View RV Park, Columbia Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Good RV park to stay when visiting the National Park. Spaces are a little tight but have been in worse places. The have a nice little RV supply store and the prices are reasonable. Wifi was good and we used our satellite for TV since they don't have cable. Didn't really like all the speed bumps in the park but guess they put them there for a reason. They don't allow pens for dogs but we saw a few under 5th wheels with the dogs outside and the owners inside...didn't hear any barking so guess it was good. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cottonwoods RV Park, Columbia, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Found this place through Passport America for a one night stop while traveling. Thought it was going to be $22.00 a night instead of the $40.00. They are seasonal so they don't do discounts. Would have stopped someplace else since it was just was one night just plugging in to electric. The sites are concrete and level. Speed bump coming in to the park is a bit much. Wi-Fi works good. Didn't hook to cable so not sure about that. Bottom line, won't be back....been in better parks for a lot less cost. We camped at Cottonwoods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Texas T Campground, Cornersville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The park is just off I-65 but you really don't notice the roadway noise with the AC running. The lots are gravel and level with some trees and has grass on both sides of the sites. Registering we were told "DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON THE GRASS" It's highlighted on your receipt! We were visiting friends so weren't at the site other than to sleep but guess you can't grill out or do anything unless you do it in the front or back of your RV. The Wi-Fi was great and worked all the times we were there. It looks like they have three bathrooms but we didn't get to use them, they were either occupied or locked. I would stay there again since we visit friends in Spring Hill but would not if I planned on hanging around my campsite. We camped at Texas T Campground in a Motorhome.

Walnut Creek RV Park, Troy, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

The place is right off 231 south of Troy and makes an OK overnight stop. The sites are pull-in/back-out so we had to disconnect our tow car and then hook it back up after we backed out. We parked in a line of of about 16 to 18 RVs and looking out our window we saw large mobile homes being put in. A previous review stated something about student housing so it looks like they are in the process of converting from an RV park to just student housing. Cost was $17.00 cash not sure if that included tax or not. Didn't pick up any WiFi so doubt if they had it. We camped at Walnut Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lazydays RV Campground, Seffner, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Always give them a 10 rating but have to lower this time because the smokers drove us out of the pool area. Everything is excellent they just have a lot of inconsiderate people staying there. One table was full of stuff and no one around stopping people from using it and enjoying the pool.

Great place to stay, you just have to put up with the other people, lots of inconsiderate people out there and they have started getting into the RV rank and file. Guess that's anyplace anymore too bad. Still would stay here again. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Bluewater Key RV Resort, Key West, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $135.00
Overall Rating:

This is a super park which has sites that are privately owned and rented out. We had a tiki hut with TV, refrigerator, and ice maker. Also dining table and couch and chairs. We were on the water with a private boat dock and a swim ladder. Only 14 miles to Key West. The staff was great and assisted in parking and hooking up. Although it was pricey it was worth the extra cost. Would stay again. We camped at Bluewater Key RV Resort in a Motorhome.
