Taos Monte Bello RV Park, Taos, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We chose this park because of the other reviews here as well as several other RV review sites. Our experience at Monte Bello RV Park was more than wonderful. The park owners are what all RV park owners should strive for. Friendly, accommodating, helpful, honest, and will go the extra mile to ensure your stay is enjoyable. It is very clear they love what they do and they love the town they live in. Very big-rig friendly. The sites are level and gravel as well as wide and long for slideouts and tow-behind vehicles. Water is good; we also used a 50 amp site. Turning around is also easy. This park is outside of the hustle-and-bustle of Taos, but within a 5-10 minute drive. The park does reside in the high-desert, so campers should be prepared for that. What does that mean? No high overhanging trees that will block satellite dishes, smaller bushes about waist-high, extremely dark skies and it can get quite breezy during the afternoon hours. The park is VERY clean, including the office, storefront, showers, little library area. Scenery is awesome. Would we stay here again? Absolutely, without hesitation! We camped at Taos Monte Bello RV Park in a Motorhome.

Dakotah Meadows RV Park, Prior Lake, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This park is adjacent to the Mystic Lake Casino. It is an extremely clean park and well kept. Green manicured grass everywhere. Sites are cement and level. It is family friendly with a playground for children. The play equipment is newer and in good condition. It is something you would expect to see at a school. WIFI strength is really good and free. VPN access works as well. There is an RV wash on the property. We have stayed here on several occasions when passing through Minneapolis. It is easy to get to and the park has a friendly staff. Be sure though if you are a late arrival that you call ahead so they leave a bathroom/shower access key outside for you. They are also very good with reschedules/cancellations, unlike a lot of parks. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Dakotah Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Falcon Meadow Campground, Falcon, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Up until last week, we have used this campground for our RV propane fills. We live within 4 miles of this RV park. Unfortunately, we were evacuated from the Black Forest Fire...and are still are. They got us in, gave us a great 50 amp spot with plenty of parking, right next to the playground, which was great for our 6 year old. Our family has been to a lot of RV parks, and I have to say, I have never met a friendlier staff than here. They have gone out of their way to make our stay wonderful, given the dire circumstances when we arrived. I have spoken to other campers who were here with our same situation, and their experience was exactly the same as ours. They also have accommodated our schedule, which has been extended, considering we are still evacuated and aren't really sure when we can get home. Sites and restrooms are clean and are within quick walking distance from any site. No issues with water pressure or WI-FI access. Cell phone service is available from this campground (3G, 4G, 4G LTE were picked up from our iPads). Some sites have shade trees and some do not. Thanks to the host for your wonderful service to us evacuees! We really appreciate it and will not forget. This review is the least we can do. We camped at Falcon Meadow Campground in a Motorhome.
