Gulpha Gorge Campground (NPS Campground), Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Great park for a National Park. We got a new site stream side. Helpful Rangers and camp hosts. No reservations accepted, so it's first come first served. There were plenty of open sites when we pulled in. No showers available. Restrooms were very clean. Park is just a short drive to downtown Hot Springs. We would stay here again. We camped at Gulpha Gorge Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.

Meramec State Park, Sullivan, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Good state park. Campground is a couple of miles from park entrance. Some sites are full hook up. Some water and electric only. Camp hosts do a good job of checking up on campground. We enjoy the solitude found during the week. Sites vary from shaded to fairly open. We have had no difficulty getting satellite reception. WiFi reception is somewhat spotty, but they are working on improvements. We enjoy this campground and will return. We camped at Meramec State Park in a Motorhome.

Big Creek RV Park, Annapolis, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is PA rate. This is a great place for kids. Our grand kids have already requested we come back in 2014. Wonderful hosts. Level sites. Pool is great. Some of the cleanest restrooms and showers we have encountered. Plenty to do in a 30 min. radius. You have to drive a little to get to any town, but we like it that way. Can't wait to get back there this year. We camped at Big Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.
