This is a relatively new campground. The sites are very nice and really quite level. Pricing for a site is very reasonable and with the Good Sam discount it is really a nice value. They have taken very good care of this campground and the landscaping is very nice. They have a pretty stringent set of rules for the campers, but that is what makes it a nice campground.

Actually my cousin set up this campground for us. This is a new campground that they are still working on. We have a 39 foot motorhome and all of the sites are back in and that is a problem since there is not a real good place to turn around to go the other way to back into a site going the other way. They have not put in any rest rooms or showers as of yet. The communication is terrible. If you want to talk to a person, you first need to leave a message and hope someone calls you back. Believe me they will call back real quick if you are talking about paying your bill. We would not recommend this campground at this point in time. I suppose when it get further done it may be ok.

Had a slight problem when we arrived. There was a miscommunication amonst employees and they had given our site away to another guest. They did accomodate us but we were put way out in the back 40 so to speak. This stop was just for 2 nights so we could go into New Orleans for the day. Utilities were placed decently and the Owner did help out with a minor problem that we had with the motorhome and fixed the problem while we were in New Orleans. Due to the fact that they were accommodating, we would probably stop again, but this campground is really not for a "big" rig. Our 39' pulling a car had problems negotiating some roads getting to the campground as it is out of the way down back country roads.

This is a nice park and it is convenient to the expressways to get into and out of the San Antonio area. The park is managed and maintained by a really nice bunch of people. They are somewhat novices when it comes to running the campground, but they are learning fast. They are cleaning up what was a dumpy park under the previous owners. They have removed a lot of the old permanent residents, they have removed a lot of trees that were blocking roadway, they are upgrading the power system, they do have 50 amp service but it is spotty at this time. Lots are pretty level and gravel, with most of them having a concrete pad with them. They also have cable tv available at the site, and the wifi is very good. One of the "tips" that we gave the novices was to have a picnic table and a fire ring at each site. Right now they do not have that. We would recommend a stay here as the rate is very good and it is a decent park. We would return again if we were in the area.

Decent little park it is just too bad about all the construction on US 75 here. Makes it hard to get in and out of the park. Sites are decent, pretty level, lots of pine trees in park making it difficult for satellite users. Has free wi-fi if you can get it to work.

Small park, lots of semi permanents. Decent little park. We stopped overnight going on to our next destination. Mary, owner, very courteous and helpful. Lots were pretty close to each other, and if you don't position yourself just right you will not be able to open your slides or put out your awning due to some recently, within a couple of years, planted trees. The campground is up fro sale and they are doing some improvements. utilities work well and are placed nicely.

Spaces are a little tight, and some of the transient spots are right next to the highway that runs by the campground. Overall this campground is very nice and comfortable. They have a nice pool and the park is well maintained.

Overall a nice campground. Decent sized sites, most had satellite accessibility.
