This campground is very well run. It is neat and clean and nicely laid out as most KOA facilities are. The pull-thru sites are level and pretty wide and long. The abundance of trees for shade is very welcome in the Badlands. All utilities worked as they should, including wifi, but there is no cell phone service. It is in a great location to tour the Badlands and Wall Drug.

It is a very nice campground with very nice people. I had a back-in site, and was escorted to it and helped with the backing in. As I was setting up, the bunnies were following me around like puppies. All utilities worked as they should including wifi. The bathrooms and showers were spotless and free. It’s a very hilly area, but the individual sites seemed level. The location is good for Mt. Rushmore and a lot of the Black Hills sights, but a bit of a drive to Rapid City. We would definitely stay there again should we return to the area.

This is a very quiet, laid back campground. The sites are very wide and dead level. All utilities worked well, but the Wi-Fi was weak. The entire place was very clean and well maintained. Friends of ours rented one of their cabins and it was very nice also. I would definitely camp there again.

This is a difficult review. The actual campground was one of the nicest we have seen. They have paved sites with concrete pads for picnic tables and pea stone everywhere else. If it had rained, there would be no mud to track into the camper. We were near the top of the loop on Eagle Lane, and the sites were laid out so willy-nilly, that we had a camper 8 feet from us in every direction, and 3 deep in some cases. The back end of one was 4 feet from our fire pit, and the site behind us couldn’t use their fire pit because our slide was over it. It might be a good area for a group traveling together that could have one fire for the entire party, but not for strangers. Fortunately, we met some nice neighbors during our week and enjoyed our stay.

We found the facilities to be as nice as many other reviewers have said. The sites were spacious and the grounds well manicured. The tiled showers were spotless and free, with plenty of hot water. The other thing that we noticed was the friendly attitude of the staff and all of the campers that we had contact with. I do believe that a good mood is contagious, and it surely has spread around this place. We will certainly be back.

We read all of the reviews and knew what we were getting into. The reason for the trip was so the grandkids would have fun and lots of activities. The kids really liked the park, even though some of the activities were for younger ones. The park charges extra for mini golf, the water slide pool and a few other things. We did get our money’s worth in the water slide pool. The one big complaint at the slide pool is no bathroom. If you are the only adult with a couple of kids, you have to pack up the entire crew to walk about 300 yards to the rest room. The sites are very small and can be hard to back into. Some of the sewer connections were broken. For all of the kids, the park was very quiet at night. The price we paid reflects a "stay 2 days get the third free" deal that you had to ask for when you made the reservations, they wouldn’t offer it. We won’t return, but the kids had their fun.

The campground is heavily wooded, and the sites were large with lots of privacy. We had a lot of rain and the trees prevented the camp from drying out, but the drainage was very good. We didn’t make use of all of the facilities, but after looking around, everything seemed to be well maintained. The showers were .25 for 8 minutes, but were usually generous with the time. They were clean with plenty of hot water. We will put this place on our return list.
