We really liked this place! Great pool and shade area. Restrooms and showers were exemplary - really above standard. Staff made us feel welcome. Safe environment, quiet and very comfortable RV site. This place is above average in every way! We camped at Albuquerque North / Bernalillo KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Coconino National Forest, Pinegrove Campground , Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Easily the most beautiful campsite in Flagstaff. We are from California, but met people from all over Arizona who said that this is their favorite spot to camp - some saying it is the prettiest campground in Arizona. Beautiful pine trees, lovely lake, quiet hours enforced. We loved our stay here. One caveat: this park is 17 miles outside of Flagstaff. We camped at Coconino National Forest, Pinegrove Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, Fredericksburg, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Huge grass lawns, adjacent to municipal airport where we were treated to vintage WWII aircraft taking off mid-day! Several playgrounds of different sizes, great pool, no mosquitos! Our campsite was easily accessed - as were all in the park. Staff was friendly and gave us good a great recommendation for places nearby to eat out. This park is in the hill country of Texas and we loved the area and this park. One of the highlights of our trip! We camped at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Not overly impressed with this park, but no major complaints. Our spot was just a connection in a gravel parking lot. Pool was nice, staff okay, quiet, but just adequate all the way around. We camped at Amarillo Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mayflower County Park, Blythe, California

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Hot!!! It got to 114 the day we arrived, but was 93 by the time we arrived. Friendly staff, good Wi-Fi, right on the Colorado River. Good power, restrooms so so but clean. Best not to park in the first row as the sprinklers ran all night and passing through the tree branches, plastered our tow vehicle with a sticky, oily residue that took awhile to clear. Overall, a pleasant stay. We camped at Mayflower County Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Carlsbad KOA, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $67.00
Overall Rating:

We chose a pull-through space with patio and cabana and were not disappointed. We were delayed in our travel, called ahead to inform the KOA office, and when we arrived very late at night, the office left our registration packet where we could easily retrieve it. We were most-impressed! Really some nice detail in pool, restrooms, and grounds. Great staff - and BBQ ribs and brisket were available delivered to our site. Awesome experience! We camped at Carlsbad KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
