Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground, Yuma, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

If I could have rated the service here at a number higher than 10, I would have done it! This was our sixth visit, and the campground just keeps getting better. Friendliness and RV service are simply outstanding. I stored here and the guys did all my maintenance at very reasonable rates. The sites are excellent, laser-leveled and with patios. You are in farm country here, with lots of space all around. As others have said, the brochure they hand out is second to none. Thanks, Steve! We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground), Lebanon, Ohio

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here in very wet and muddy conditions. Not the fault of the campground for sure, but it did highlight the very poor condition of the roads. There are potholes everywhere. Roads are much too narrow and need a new coating of gravel. Mud is deep and treacherous! I agree with past reviewers that is difficult to see the entrance to the park. I suggest a blue camping sign like the ones on the approach roads, right at the entrance. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Louisville South KOA, Shepherdsville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This campground to us was MUCH better than portrayed by others on this site. Yes, the pool is still closed. We don't use pools anyway. They gave a substantial discount due to this fact. That said, I feel this is a beautiful campground, with plenty of sites with lots of space. We had a deluxe patio site and it was huge, scenic, and inviting to be in. I'm afraid that people's anger about pool closure prompted some of the negative vibes in previous reviews. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Park is clean, well maintained and in my opinion, has been unfairly maligned by others. We would be happy to return again. We camped at Louisville South KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Buckhorn Lake Resort, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Agree with other reviewers about the park and facilities. My only comment would be that about 40-50% of those staying here are Harley riders, and they tell me this is a very popular park with that group. All I have met are great people. I just have very little in common with this group, and conversation usually dies when I tell them I don't ride, hunt, or fish. Also, the park allows trailers on site, which in our area makes for a cluttered appearance. We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Lots of great restaurants in Kerrville. Also the HEB grocery store is one of the best we've encountered.

Owen Sound KOA, Owen Sound, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Camped in a lovely pond-side pull-through with shade trees. We noted other pull-throughs that were open and also appealing. Entrance road was very bumpy and rutted. Drive slowly! Roads within the park are good. 30 amp power and water pressure were fine. Many seasonals; most well-maintained. Office staff friendly and helpful. Difficult getting into our site because it was narrow and actually curved! Would stay here again. We camped at Owen Sound KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Lands End Park, Tobermory, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Driving through the park, we noticed that owners had taken advantage of natural landscape elements but have avoided the closed-in feel of many wooded campgrounds. Premium 50-amp site was gorgeous but this newbie found it very tight backing in with our 37-foot fifth wheel. Excellent power and good water pressure. We are self-contained, but visited washrooms and they are spotless We love this park, and will return. We camped at Lands End Park in a Fifth Wheel.
