Mountain Meadow RV Park, Hungry Horse, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Very treed and the layout of the spaces made for seclusion in the front and back, although being somwhat close together. This same layout, along a hillside, was a detriment for navigating and levelling. I have never seen rules posted before, forbidding hanging out towels, even from swimming. No recycling bins were available except for wine bottles. If kids keep fish caught, cost is $1 per inch. OK campground but I would pick another spot and one closer to Glacier than 9 miles away. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park in a Motorhome.

Milo McIver State Park, Estacada, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Can't say enough about this wonderful State Park. The sites were spacious and a few are so private you can't see your neighbors through the trees. Excellent, friendly service. Hiking trails with many points of interest. The hiking trails could only be improved by having names on the posts and map so hikers could know where they are.

The Clackamas River had easy access and was close by. Very impressive to see so many recycling bins!

Our family will forever have fond memories of Milo McIver and will look forward to coming back! We camped at Milo McIver State Park in a Motorhome.

Horse Thief Campground & RV Resort, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Nice Campground with a secluded feel. Good service. Great play area for kids with adjacent big natural rocks to climb. Sites are not very level so leveling jacks are put to good use! The management was welcoming and most accommodating about letting us stay a couple of hours longer free of charge. Wi-Fi is terrible but this is often the case in many campsites. I would recommend this campground. We camped at Horse Thief Campground & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone Park / West Entrance KOA, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

Based on some reviews we weren't sure this would be a good campground. A friend recommended it since we were traveling with our young granddaughters. Glad we took her advice because, honestly, we couldn't have asked for anything better (except for Wi-Fi which was lousy, but that's often the case). It's a beautiful facility with spacious, lovely treed sites. Immaculate, too, and that includes the indoor, heated pool, laundry room, game room, and office. The staff couldn't have been more service-oriented. They knocked themselves out. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone (and I take recommendations very seriously!). We camped at Yellowstone Park / West Entrance KOA in a Motorhome.
