Country Aire Campground, Charlemont, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We held a rally here and had a great time. Our 14 rigs were close, all together, and we had use of the pavilion. The weather was awesome, foliage turning, and while we were here at a rally I was not a fan of door to door parking. Since we were all friends we didn't care. Putting two rigs on one post was a way to keep down cost for the owner, but not my favorite configuration. We also had 2 "encounters" with the fire rings, so be aware of that. I hired the honey wagon to avoid the dump station. West Mass doesn't have an abundance of campgrounds "big rig" friendly, and this was easily approached from route 2. Our satellite dish worked (direct tv). Take a walk around to plan your departure to be sure there is room and no tight turns. Try the home made donuts, mmmmmmmmm. We camped at Country Aire Campground in a Motorhome.

Newfound RV Park, Bristol, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We held a rally here with 9 coaches. The park is pristine, the operators are new owners and are friendly and accommodating! This park is level, the sites are big and the picnic tables look like new, Fire pits are at every site, firewood and fire-starter is available. We had the very best time here, so much so, our stay went from a planned 3 nights to eleven nights. The shower is hot, clean, and easily accessed. There is a nature walk, babbling stream, and the area boasts hundreds of things to do and see. There is even a great breakfast cafe within walking distance and a driving range right across the street, it runs on the honor system. We will be back to this place for sure. After inquiring, the owners tell us it was a big-rig park before and they are opening it up to campers all! There are primitive tent sites here, and nice big lots for your 45 footer too. It is quiet, and fun! Don't miss the chance to stay a night or a week! There are lots of very good places to eat locally, the Newfound Lake is gorgeous too! We camped at Newfound RV Park in a Motorhome.

Travelers Woods, Bernardston, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park. It is close to many attractions locally and is clean. The two sewer dump stations are conveniently located as you leave the park. They are clean, in the open, and easy to use. We met the managers and they were very friendly and helpful. The store was complete and the park gives some of the profits to support the Shriners. All in all a great rally in a fun place! I recommend this park when you are in the area! We camped at Travelers Woods in a Motorhome.
