City Park on edge of town with playground, rodeo grounds, High School football stadium and city golf course. Extremely clean, well spaced out. Almost all sites have full shade due to pecan and live oak trees. Grocery just down the road, along with several restaurants. On-site camp hosts extremely knowledgeable about local activities and helpful. This was fourth time to this park and each time has been nice. Pay in cash.

Easy to find, convenient to 2 major highways. We were headed back from Big Bend after a convention in El Paso. This time of year never know what will break down in our RV but pretty much use to that with all our miles. So, with no reservation, we pulled in and the office was closed. Mike stopped me before I went 6 steps after I pulled late arrival info on a Sunday evening. Went inside, took care of business, and drove straight to the spot. Same as the website said, didn't have to unhook toad (Jeep) as all sites very long and level. Will certainly be a repeat customer now since only 3 hours from home (this is Texas and took 2 days driving to get to El Paso). The only regret would be the lack of picnic tables, but we have our own portable.

Will love to return in a few years and see how it's changed: they are adding cabins to complement the cement pull-through slabs. Everything we saw was great except, like most of East Texas, be prepared to combat ants in the summer. Not far off a state highway but located in the country and secluded. Surprised more haven't found this campground.

Great alternative location since the RV park at Rudolph Lake campground was full on the weekend. We stayed 4 nights; very busy on weekend and moderate on Monday & Tuesday. Staff always busy; bathrooms kept clean daily. Only concern we had was how fast people drove (up to 20 mph) with tons of children on scooters and bikes on the main roads.

Great park for overnight stay while traveling, or if you have relatives/friends in the area. Easy in/out access. The host was outstanding. We had said we'd be late arrivals and he told us our site number on the phone. Due to highway construction not being as bad as they said, we arrived early. He came over, greeted us, but was also checking to make sure it was us and not someone else who just pulled into the slot. Food at Ole Sawmill Cafe was great also. Thanks!!!
