Excellent RV park with large level sites. Friendly staff. Clean rest rooms and showers. Good wifi signal. Park had cable TV with a good selection of channels but picture was not clear on all channels. Close to town and all the other things to do and see in Haines. Fort Telkwa Riverfront RV Campground, Telkwa, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice RV park. The park had strong wifi signal and about 60 channels. Back-in sites were large both length and width. Plenty of room to stay hooked up for the night and put out slides and awning. Very clean restrooms and showers. Laundry room on site. A short walk from the site down to the river. Free RV wash available. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Fort Telkwa Riverfront RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Hillsborough River State Park, Thonotosassa, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park, shaded campsites and clean restrooms. They even have a swimming pool that opens Memorial Day. Plenty of hiking and biking trails, canoe rental and a cafe store. The cafe serves breakfast reasonably priced and really good. The site rate reflects a senior discount. We camped at Hillsborough River State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Wekiwa Springs State Park, Apopka, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice campground in this state park. Most of the sites are angled (as opposed to 90 degree) to the campground road making backing in very easy. Sites 1 - 30 have new sewer hookups available. Bathrooms were very clean. Lots of hiking trails available. Park is very busy on weekends so come during the week to avoid the crowds. We camped at Wekiwa Springs State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Suwannee River State Park, Live Oak, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here 3 nights. Site was tight to get our 34 foot trailer into. Would have been much better if the site sign post was on the opposite side of the entry. Lots of shade. Wife got bitten by chiggers but that is florida. Suwanee river is close by for water activities. We rented canoes and had a great time. Plenty of trails for walking and riding bicycles. Restrooms were clean and well maintained. We camped at Suwannee River State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park, Saint George Island, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This state park was a surprise. It is located on a barrier island on the Gulf of Mexico. Half of the island is commercialized and the other half is the state park. You can easily walk from the campground to the beach. The grandkids loved it. There are several pavilions along the beach for use. The beach was beautiful, very similar to the other beachs of north florida. Campground was well maintained with clean restrooms. No seeums around but that is florida. We camped at Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park in a Travel Trailer.
