Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Great family park at a resort island. Two pools, 3 tennis courts, playground, and on site fishing and jet skiing. Park does not assign spaces in advance, but gives arriving customers use of golf carts to choose heir own site of hose available. This was great as each owner knows their unit and parking ability. As sites are individually owned, furnished and landscaped, the choices can vary. All sites are on level concrete. Only shortcoming is the WiFi system has two antennas and signals do not extend more than a few sites in any direction. The office can furnish a booster but only for Windows PCs. Note: AT&T cell service varies greatly (3G, 4G, E, No Service) in the exact same position within minutes. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Haas Lake Park RV Campground, New Hudson, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 8 nights and had a beautiful waterfront site on one of the four small lakes. Space between units was generous. The only complaint is they advertise WiFi, but, if you can get that far, their login page states they are aware their system is inadequate to meet demand. Never once could we access their network. RV parks need to upgrade facilities to meet customer demand for technology or not mislead patrons as to availability. Otherwise, a great facility. We camped at Haas Lake Park RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
