OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Staff very friendly. Our adult daughter and her family were able to set up their tent on the grass by our site. This worked great for us. Showers and laundry were very clean. Washers and dryers were in good working order. Quiet, no road noise. Not fancy but met our needs. Will stay here again. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Fifth Wheel.

SKP Pair-A-Dice -Escapees Park (members only), Pahrump, Nevada

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here 12 nights. This is a very clean, quiet, and friendly park. All sites are pull-through and level. The laundry is clean and even has a fenced in area for line drying clothes. Water pressure was adequate. They have a nice rec center that is not fancy, but very comfortable and offers some activities. We will definitely stay here again. The site owners were friendly and we felt very comfortable here. We camped at SKP Pair-A-Dice -Escapees Park (members only) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Mountain Falls golf course is close and very nice. The executive course in town is poorly maintained, which is sad because it could be a fun course. The museum in Pahrump is definitely worth a visit with lots of info about atomic testing and radioactive waste storage.

Clark Park, Battle Mountain, Nevada

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We only stayed here one night on our travels. They were only about 50% full, so could pull through to our site without any problem. If they are busy, most sites would be back in. There are several campers who are extended stay and then one row for over night guests. Check in was self serve, but they do have someone onsite to answer questions if needed. Water pressure, WiFi and dish reception were good. The laundry room is open to folks not staying in the park, but that did not seem to create any problems. The laundry was very clean and had several machines.

The park was very quiet and I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Clark Park in a Fifth Wheel.

There is a coffee house and Maverick gas station within walking distance. Museum in town was closed, but I think it would be worth going checking out. Town park was very clean and had nice playground equipment.

Deerwood RV Park, Eugene, Oregon

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 4 months. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The park is very well run and clean. Pads are all asphalt and mostly level. Adequate space between units. A couple of the sites are a little tricky to back in to without getting on the grass. Would be nice if the pads were just a bit wider. Dish Satellite receiver worked well in our site, but some of the sites had more trees, so would let them know you have a receiver. I would definitely stay here again. They do get busy on football weekends and in the summer, so suggest reserving ahead. We camped at Deerwood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Country Corners RV Park and Campground , Caldwell, Idaho

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice well kept park with new owners. There are several extended stay campers, but sites were neat and tidy. We only stayed one night on our travels, but I would definitely stay again. They have water lines insulated and heat taped, so staying during the cooler months should not be a problem. Easy to park our rig and plenty of space so we could stay hooked up if we wanted. We camped at Country Corners RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground), Snowville, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet place with large sites and easy access. Sites were level and everything worked well. Water pressure is high, so they recommend you use a reducer.

The shower and bath are not fancy, but were clean. They have a couple of washers and dryers. I did not use them, but they looked ok. Laundry room a tad messy, but appeared functional.
Great for an overnight stay. Mollies diner had good breakfast, but one order is enough for 2 people. I will definitely stay at this park again because of the well maintained sites and ease of access. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Battlement Mesa RV Park, Battlement Mesa, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for about 10 days. Campground is quiet and the electrical does not work at several sites, so check power before setting up. This park was expanded for all the oilfield workers during the boom. Now the boom is over and they seem to be trying to make it a nice park again after neglecting it for several years. Our site was paved and pretty level. Plenty of room to set up. The laundry is ok. Equipment is old and 2 of the dryers seem to have been used to dry clothing that had been oily. If you pick your dryer, they work fine and don't damage clothes.
I would stay here again, but wish they offered a discounted weekly rate or passport America. Golf course nearby is wonderful and the views are very nice. Hope they continue to improve the park. We camped at Battlement Mesa RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Heritage RV Park, Augusta, Georgia

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 4 months and found it to be a surprisingly quiet and comfortable RV park. The location is good and the owners do an excellent job of keeping things very clean and in working order.

When we first arrived we were not sure we would be happy staying here because of the size of the park and the lack of shower or laundry facilities. We quickly found that we had landed in the right spot for us. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Kansas City West / Lawrence KOA , Lawrence, Kansas

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here one night. Easy access off the interstate. Very clean and staff helpful. Cable good, Wi-Fi - fine if you don't need to do a download such as upgrade I tunes. The site was level. Negatives were: Train and highway noise. The trains go about every 6 minutes and some are very loud! I am not a light sleeper, but was awakened several times by loud whistles. I will not stay here again because of the train noise and the price. This is geared to small children, but too expensive for late October when it is too cold for swimming, etc. and we have no children traveling with us. We camped at Kansas City West / Lawrence KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Aspen Trails RV and Campground, Cedaredge, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Site is on the highway, but noise was not a problem. The pads were had very loose coarse gravel, which made getting the trailer level a chore. There was an issue with power at the site. The main breaker for the campsite tripped and the gentleman working the store reset it. There was no camp host on site, so when the breaker tripped several more times we had to reset it. One camper had to leave because he had a family member with a medical condition that required electrical hookup. Shower and bath were clean. Doubt I would stay here again because of the electrical issue and the pads. We camped at Aspen Trails RV and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Area's Finest Country View Campground, Ogallala, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed one night. Sites were level and the campground was clean and well maintained. Camp hosts went above and beyond to help us with cable TV setup. I would definitely stay here again. Although, I did not use the pool, it appeared to be clean and well maintained. We camped at Area's Finest Country View Campground in a Travel Trailer.
