Camp ground is large an open. Very nice when it first opened but has gone down hill. We stay here every year, but kinda tired of it. Pool is full all day. Beach is hardly used, not that nice. Lake has OK fishing from shore, (cant bring in your own kayak or boat) have to rent for big money. Store is large but shelves are empty, pizza is good. Always a cold breeze off the lake take several jackets! Hope the new owners make some changes like lowering the site price. Not worth the money.

Campground was OK level sites, large OK grass. Small to no store on sight but close. Fishing is Great large bass in boat and off shore. Large body of water 1700 acres. Small beach. Great view of lake from most campsites. To me this park was all about the fishing. Worth going to. Nice boat, kayak rental place on water. Take your camera!

We have stayed here often. Close to home. Sites 170-213 in the north side are the best, decent grass, level and good shade trees. The remaining sites on the north side are really unlevel, poor grass and small. The south side sites are small, unlevel and sparse on grass. The beach is very nice and well kept up, its public but large enough for everyone. The store is basic but OK. The lake is good to kayak or small boat fish, decent bass, pike, bluegills. Motors OK but the entire lake is no wake. DNR patrol and keep things calm. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful.
