Hidden Valley RV Park, Del Rio, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Our"2nd home", we have a fifth wheel here going on 2 years. VERY quiet compared to highway 70 parks, as this park located in an established nice neighborhood. The lots are huge, shade trees everywhere, birds, deer, turkey, and again docile and quiet is why we parked a trailer here long term to fish Amistad Reservoir. The owner is helpful and keeps the park quiet. Great water psi, regulator needed. Cable TV, a decent Verizon 4g signal. We highly recommend this park for overnight, a few days, or long term if you prefer not hearing 18 wheelers at 70mph plus. The shade, large lots, and quiet make this in our opinion the best park in Del Rio. We camped at Hidden Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Thousand Trails - Palm Springs RV Resort, Palm Desert, California

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

large park, lots of palm trees, lots of dusty sand. nice and roomy between spaces, more than normal. "gated" security which is nice. everyone seemed to abide to quiet times in our end of the park which was on the varner road end. very high traffic noise from main highway both day and night. train noise several times each night which was louder than the vehicles. we know why the opposite end of park was full; alot further from the noise. we will stay here again if we can get on quiet side. We camped at Thousand Trails - Palm Springs RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Hidden Valley RV Park, Del Rio, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

If you want shade and lots of room this is the park to be in when coming to Del Rio. We have stayed in 3 other parks here and this is by far the best. It is a little out of the way but far from the highways where the other parks are located. The neighborhood is very nice, and the only noise is what you make and the birds. The spaces arw HUGE and very level with tables, benches, and concrete pads. The owner is more than nice and very helpful. This park is truly a bissen gem. We now have a trailer here permanent for fishing Amistad Reservoir. Our monthly rate is $285 plus electric. We camped at Hidden Valley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Gunnison Lakeside RV Park & Cabins, Gunnison, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Park is basically right on Blue Mesa Reservoir which was good for us as we were here to fish, and a nice public boat ramp across the highway from park. There are lots of permanent residents, but all is fairly well kept. Quiet hours are abided by, and the staff is friendly. We will stay again. We camped at Gunnison Lakeside RV Park & Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

Flaming Gorge / Manila KOA, Manila, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are very crowded and very unlevel. Dogs pretty well run free and we had to clean our area daily of what they left for us. Quiet hous mean nothing here and no enforcement of quiet hours or dogs being leashed. The posted speed limit means nothing to most and dust and dirt is stirred continuously by the speeders. We gave 4 days notice of leaving early and were denied a refund. We will not stay here again. We camped at Flaming Gorge / Manila KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Elk Meadows River Resort, Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with hard working owners. Gravel and grass, good water pressure, and 5 miles from town. We stayed at lower parking area with river view, and the sound of the river which was great. Wireless was fine, and our cell service and wireless card worked fine too. If you are looking for asphalt and cement you are in the wrong place. We will definitely be staying here when spots are available. We camped at Elk Meadows River Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Garden of the Gods Campground, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

A nice park with very nice and helpful employees. Some of the spaces are not very level so be sure and bring lot of blocks, etc. We had to use over 12" at the front of trailer for the stabilizers. We noticed many that used way more than we did to get level. The park is very near old downtown, and close to grocery stores, and about anything needed. Lots of shade, and we will definitely stay here again. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stagecoach Stop RV Resort, Rio Rancho, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This park is easy to find and very close to stores needed by us RVers. The sites are small in length, but concrete and level with limited shade trees with a parking spot for vehicle. There are many semi permanent tenants and lots of inquisitive residents. We spent the first hour or so being "interviewed". We would stay here again for an overnight stay only. We camped at Stagecoach Stop RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

A nice park with lots of shade trees and the river running around it gives the constant sound of flowing water. Sites are fairly large and easy in and out; gravel sites with natural grass. Wake up call is 7am when the trash truck arrives. We will stay here again. We camped at Little Creel Resort in a Travel Trailer.
