We had fun here. We couldn't see the water, but that's expected as the beaches here are important and protected. The bathrooms were average for a private camp, but nothing special. The spots were wide, but not shaded. Overall, I liked the place and we'll be back. This is a great place for families as there's plenty to do with kids including an indoor and outdoor pool, a game room, a playground, and of course the beach. Everything is expensive so bring as many groceries with you as possible, and top off on gas before you get near OBX.

This is a nice campground with sites on the lake and higher up on a small mountain over looking the lake. The sites on the mountain are wooded and farther apart. The sites on the lake are closer, but not too close. We had a good time, but this campground can become noisy if some campers are there for concerts and drinking/partying. The location is good and you can get to grocery stores and restaurants easily.

The owners are very nice so I hate to leave a bad review, but it's important for others to get an honest view of this very tight and small campground. The sites are so close you can't open your awning and the stream is really a very small creek. The site is close to the busy main road and there's little place to walk to. This RV park is okay if you only need a place to park your RV overnight or for a separate event, but if you want to camp for the experience of camping this isn't a good. Sorry, but this is the truth.
