This is a great location if visiting the Lewisburg WV area. It is approximately 2 miles west of downtown Lewisburg. We will definitely stay here again if visiting the are.

The nicest park I've seen in the valley. Beautiful landscaping and friendly people. Would have rated higher if their Wi-Fi worked. Considering this park is one of the highest priced in the area I would have expected a reliable Wi-Fi connection. Their website states their Wi-Fi "really works." Not so. If they could fix this problem this would be a 10 rated park.

We were essentially staying in a parking lot with very tight back-in sites. We were in the so-called deluxe sites to accommodate larger motor homes. Huh! Thank goodness the sites were empty on each side of us and in front of us or I'm not sure how we would have gotten in. We saw the staff helping everyone get parked. We were unable to reach the sewer connection even though we had an extended hose. Most people had an extension. We are just trying to be conservative with our water usage and we will use the dump station as we leave. We expected we would have free WIFI since we were paying over $100 a night but, no, we had to pay $18.75 for the weekly WIFI rate. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and the park in nicely maintained. The pub was a popular spot next to the pool. We would look to stay somewhere else the next time we are in the Keys.

We coordinated our month stay around the shuttle launch. Overall, we were satisfied with the campground although we dreaded the weekend crowds. We found them rude, vulgar, and disrespectful of others. The weekenders walked through our site constantly and their children rode their bikes right past us as we sat outside our RV. We were grateful the staff enforced quiet hours. The bathrooms were always clean except on the weekends.

Rate is with Good Sam discount. Check-in was simple, and owner very accommodating even without a reservation. Our pull-through site was unlevel but was the best site to get satellite TV. Wi-Fi was mostly reliable. The area was quiet, and convenient to the city, although we were surprised at how dead the city was even with a cruise ship in port. The only difficulty we had was making the turn off Old Military Road. We had traffic on our left so we could not make the tight right turn without the on-coming traffic backing up to enable our turn on to the road to the park.

This older, conveniently located park was neat and clean, with many social activities and a sparkling pool. Office staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Our major complaint was the extremely tight spots. We had one of their very limited larger pull-thru sites. We felt like sardines and would not extend our stay even though we would have liked to be in the area longer. Would not stay here again unless we had no other choice. WIFI was dependable.

This website needs to update their nightly rate field to allow for more than a two figure rate. Including all the Florida taxes we paid $154 per night. We stayed seven nights--would have stayed longer if our budget allowed. This gated, owner resort is small but beautiful. It is near mile marker 14 so it is convenient to Key West. All sites are beautifully landscaped to provide almost complete privacy from your neighbor. We pulled in facing the water, a dock and tiki hut. We felt like we were in paradise. We were cautioned about "the rules" when we checked in. We didn't mind because we appreciate a well-maintained environment. We found most people to be very friendly. Would definitely return--the high cost was worth it to us. WIFI was reliable.

I read the previous reviewers post just a few days before we were set to arrive at this campground. I almost cancelled our reservations. The immediate area was a bit intimidating, but we were careful and agreed not to be out after dark. We found the area east and southeast was the most concerning but you can pass in and out of nicer areas. We were not so concerned that we would say we would never come back again. Inside the park we felt safe although we were warned by some neighbors who come to the park every winter to lock up everything. A few bikes had apparently been stolen and tools had been taken from a pickup truck. The very large security-patrolled campground is arranged in pods with spacious green areas between them. The sites are spacious although the concrete parking pad is very narrow. If you are planning on staying here, just be careful as you should be in any big city.

We were satisfied with the campground for our purpose--to see the space shuttle launch. Not sure what was biting but we had many bug bites on our legs so make sure you have good bug repellent. Also, close all your windows. We got a small lizard in our car. WIFI was down about 25% of the time and would not reach to our site. The lady in the office during the day was very moody and was not at all helpful or concerned when she was told their WIFI was down.

This is an owner park with a mix of RVs and modular homes. Backing in is a bit tricky depending on the site you get, because of the tight streets and landscaping. We had a spacious, beautifully landscaped spot although not all sites were so large. Most of the people were very friendly. A strip mall with a grocery store is within walking distance and a large beach is within 2 blocks. You get the feel of seclusion even though you are in a populated area. This is a very safe area where people were constantly walking or riding their bikes along the miles of walkway overlooking the beautiful beach below. Our only complaint was the park's WIFI did not reach to our site. We had to go to the office to get service. We will definitely return here if in the area if we can get our same site.

We liked the proximity of the park to all the attractions in the area. We thought the price was high for the tight spots, noise level, $5 daily WIFI fee, and since many amenities were closed for the season. The first night we got NO sleep with the loud freight trains ALL night long. An airport must be nearby because we also experienced some plane noise. We rushed through our tours so we could leave ASAP. The tight spots did pose a problem getting out. We had a heck of a time. We found it easier to back out of our pull-through. We did like the fact that the campground entitled us to play golf at the private Hershey Country Club. We would not stay here again because of the noise level.

We enjoyed our stay although we think they are over-priced even with the fall discount. There are no amenities for $47 a night if you stay during the week beginning in Oct. We had no trouble getting a spot without a reservation but we would bet this place is booming during the summer and weekends. It seems to cater to families. The park grounds are huge and attractive and we did like the way they have sectioned out the RV sites throughout the large area. Garbage pickup is provided at your site. Bathrooms were a little out of the way. We were surprised at the rate charge, and there was an additional cost for WIFI--with a two day commitment from the service provider.

The previous reviews were so low we decided to drive our car over first to check the place. We were staying on South Hero but found the area too far from our points of interest near Burlington. As we drove in we had a negative first impression because of the shady hotel. As we checked out the RV grounds we found mostly seasonal lots--some trashy. We decided since there are so few RV parks around Burlington we would be able to tolerate the place since we would be on the go most of the time. We were allowed to pick our spot. Our first night the seasonal neighbor kept us awake with their loud TV or radio. A previous reviewer was right about snarling dogs. One tried to attack our tiny dog but fortunately the dog was tied up and did not get to our dog. Most people seemed to have very large dogs. FYI - we had to prove up-to-date shots for our dog upon check-in. We were most disappointed with: 1)the WIFI was pathetic. I wish places wouldn't state they have WIFI when it doesn't work. We could never get reliable internet here. We gave up. 2)A major negative for us was the fact that you cannot turn south to leave the park and we had to drive approximately 3 miles up the road to get turned around with our RV--a car can make a u-turn in a shorter distance. Traffic is heavy during rush hour so give yourself plenty of time if venturing out at that time. We would never want to stay here again but if back in the area we probably would because of the convenience to the attractions and relatives. We would consider checking out North Beach again but we found the city traffic too much with a 40ft motorhome. FYI - not sure why a previous reviewer indicated Shelburne Museum was not nearby - it is within a mile or two of the park.

Passport rate quoted-we had a long pull-through site and had no problem using our satellite. We could not open our windows or sit outside during the day because dump trucks and other large commercial vehicles were driving through all day stirring up dust from the gravel roads. Not sure what they are doing but this continued all week. We were in town to visit our son so we did not like that any visitor had to pay $5. The park is in a beautiful area but it is a long drive to Burlington and any sizable grocery options.

Date of Stay:

The park is conveniently located to all the attractions in North Conway. We (and others) had trouble getting through a few tight turns to our spots. They have too many obstacles. People were temporarily moving fire rings and dodging posts to try to back in. We were not pleased about the $2 per day pet charge especially since we were told dogs were not allowed to be left in RVs and we had to take her with us whenever we left. Some of the staff were extremely friendly--a few were rather short. WIFI was not reliable. We would look for another place if in the area again.
