Shady Acres RV Park & Campground, Green River, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This RV Park is a bit run-down and their power supply is questionable. My surge protector showed ground fault at my site so I moved to another site and got the same results. There is a nice sized dog area. The location is good. Near downtown Green River and close to Moab. The staff was nice. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Auburn Gold Country RV Park, Auburn, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park advertises that it has gone green with solar. Its true they have a massive solar array. The management does a great job of keeping this park clean and neat. The pool and hot tub are awesome! We camped at Auburn Gold Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Big Foot, Junction City, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed this park. Its very remote. You have to drive several hours on CA 299 to get there. The road is twisty and there are a lot of steep hills. They are currently doing major road construction on it.

This park has great access to the Trinity River. Fly fishing is popular here. We camped at Big Foot in a Motorhome.

Great fly-fishing and within a day-trip distance to the Coastal Redwoods.

The roads are good but steep and windy. Road construction was a real pain. We sat in traffic for quite a while.

Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort, Sisters, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Crazy entrance, very sharp turn if you're coming from Sisters. We had to disconnect our tow vehicle to get in. The dog park is very inconvenient to access, very long walk to get to a small fenced off area in the woods. Other than that the location is great and the grounds are beautiful! We camped at Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pendleton KOA , Pendleton, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend because there were no RV sites available in the Seattle area. The sites were tight for our 42 ft. rig.

The trees overhung and damaged my roof.

Nice little fenced in dog area with a view. We camped at Pendleton KOA in a Motorhome.

Lake Easton Resort, Easton, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park is old and neglected. Great Location! Adjacent to the State Park and Snoqualmie Pass. Many of the sites are under large pine trees so Satellite reception is spotty. Many of the original sites are no longer in use. Nice two night stay. Right next to Interstate 90 They give you the combination to the gate which leads to the State Park next door. Close to Roslyn, WA, where Northern Exposure was filmed.

I imagine this place filled with snow machines during winter. We camped at Lake Easton Resort in a Motorhome.

Lake Pleasant RV Park, Bothell, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for a week, flew to Alaska, and returned for another week's stay. They have a storage area specifically for people flying to Alaska. 110 plug-in. The only downside is lousy wi-fi and poor cellphone reception for Verizon customers. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Fairgrounds Nashville, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We chose this "park" for its proximity to Camp Bow Wow Nashville. It's not really a park. It's more like a parking lot. No reservations, just show up and pick a spot. First come, first served. It's cheap and close to downtown Nashville. We called a mobile RV repair in Nashville and they had never heard of it. There was just enough room to put our slides out. We camped at The Fairgrounds Nashville in a Motorhome.

Webb's Camping, Hartford, Iowa

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great place! Large yards for dogs to play and run. Way out of town down a very long dirt road which kicked up dust all over our vehicles. If you don't like to get your vehicles dirty don't camp here. We thought it was worth it. Mostly permanent campers. Very friendly staff and owners. The owners started this camp 40 years ago. We were lucky to get a site and the one we got had a spectacular sunset view of the Des Moines River and the Des Moines skyline. We camped at Webb's Camping in a Motorhome.

Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch, Big Timber, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park, secluded and quiet.

We chose this park because we have dogs and read in an earlier review that they let your dogs run off leash if controlled.

I want to clear up a misconception about dogs "off leash" that a former reviewer wrote. I picked this park because someone commented that they let you have your dog off leash in certain parts of the park if under control.

Not True. Perhaps because management has changed recently. We camped at Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch in a Motorhome.
