Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park, Glendale, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, well run campground. Office staff was competent and helpful. RV spot was sufficiently large enough to 'hold' our motor home and car. Wifi worked well and was free; our ATT cellphone service was non-existent. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Des Moines West KOA, Adel, Iowa

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Make sure that you emphasize you have a big rig before checking for availability. Interior roads are narrow and the serpentine manner in which you are required to follow is only made more difficult by all the cars and golf carts parked everywhere. The Wi-Fi was relatively useless. We camped at Des Moines West KOA in a Motorhome.

Interstate RV Park, Davenport, Iowa

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Easy In and Out from Interstate 80. Pull-through was more than adequate for RV and tow. Only criticism is that the Wi-Fi they advertise would not work - may have been a one time thing but we were only here one day We camped at Interstate RV Park in a Motorhome.

Antique Capital RV Park, Gladewater, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very pleasant surprise. It is a superb RV Park that is relatively new. As more and more amenities are added I am afraid this park will become very busy. The people in the office seemed genuinely glad that we were here - certainly nice to be greeted that way. They offer free cable TV (with HBO) and free Wi-Fi (that worked) The price reflects Passport America discount. We camped at Antique Capital RV Park in a Motorhome.

A very easy in and out park. Great place for an overnight stop along I-70. The recent new owner is making progress on upgrading. I would definitely stay here again. (800) 690-2267 We camped at Great Escape RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Forest Retreat RV Park, New Caney, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2008 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest RV parks we have stayed in, the grounds were well maintained and the common buildings were spotless. The office staff greeting was friendly and we were led to our site. The site layout was spot on. In addition, there is also free coffee, daily newspaper, WiFi and cable TV. If the owner is demanding of his clientèles and in return this is what we get - I am all for it. We will certainly stay here again. We camped at Forest Retreat RV Park in a Motorhome.

Oak Plantation Campground, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Only criticism may be that some of the sites are a bit narrow, as we were the only ones parked in our row, on this trip that didn't matter. Nice folks in the office. "Store" was sparse but this campground is located in a very convenient spot to shop for whatever you may need. We camped at Oak Plantation Campground in a Motorhome.

Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground, Kalispell, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The trailer park just outside of our site was bit disconcerting. The site itself was more than adequate. We were there over the Fourth of July and the staff did their best to control the "fireworks" in the park; they were not able to control the Trailer park however...but then again it's only one night a year. All and all we would stay there again if it is on the way from "here" to wherever "there" might be We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Glacier Meadow RV Park, East Glacier Park, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicer RV parks we stayed in this past summer. Operators were friendly and very accommodating. Very pet friendly. Beautiful setting. Only "imperfection" - we had little success with cellphone "station". We have Cingular service; it did not work. Did see other campers using "station" however. We camped at Glacier Meadow RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lewis & Clark RV Park, Shelby, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $29.00

This ranks with the worst Campground we have ever stayed. The layout is poor, doors, awning, etc open onto the road. Pet unfriendly. And the mosquitoes? Killers. We camped at Lewis & Clark RV Park in a Motorhome.
