Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch, Big Timber, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

If you find yourself between Billings and Butte, don't miss the opportunity to stay at least one night at this RV park. The sites are either gravel or dirt, but very well packed. Our MH is 43ft, so if we didn't sink you won't either. Of course, if it had been raining we would have asked for a gravel site. We parked at site 16, which put us parallel to the river only 4 ft away. Most sites have trees. The property has several ponds. There is a nice playground and the park is pet friendly. You can trout fish right off the bank or in their ponds. The park is a couple of miles from the highway so no road noise. Wonderful! We camped at Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch in a Motorhome.

Indian Campground & RV Park, Buffalo, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Good size park. Our RV is 43 ft and it was a little snug getting into our site but once there, no problem. Great shade trees and a nice pool. We would stay here again. Even though the park was next to the highway the noise was minimal. Fantastic eatery 2-3 miles from park called the Winchester Steakhouse. Go see the Occidental Hotel in downtown. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Quiet and clean. Hosts are very friendly. Concrete pads are a nice feature. Very easy access from the highway. Wonderful local eatery called the Star café or diner. Service was good and the food was down home cooking, great! Check out the car museum/hallmark shop. Makes for an interesting stop. We camped at American RV Park & Kamp in a Motorhome.

Rafter J Bar Ranch Camping Resort, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful spot centrally located to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer state park. We have a 43ft motorhome plus a toad. We had no problem getting around in the park. This park is large but is very spread out. We had a 3 acre field across from our spot. Sites are wide with plenty of room for slides. They offer a wonderful, quick breakfast for a very reasonable price. Even though there are lots of RV sites, many with kids, overall it was a quiet park. We camped at Rafter J Bar Ranch Camping Resort in a Motorhome.
