The Beach Camping Area, North Conway, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

The site was very large and roomy. The campground was kept clean and the people were friendly. The bathrooms were clean but the shower were pay showers (although 1$ for 5 + minutes is not bad) and the shower floor was a little gritty. We had a nice shady site and we really enjoyed stay. We camped at The Beach Camping Area in a Motorhome.

Mountain Lake Campground, Lancaster, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We really like this camp ground. There were many things to do. The pool was nice and the lake was clean. There is an on site mile long walking path for our dogs. The showers and bathrooms were clean. When the sky was clear the night sky was great. (not a lot of ambient light) We stayed a week and really enjoyed our selves. We camped at Mountain Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

This was a nice campground. There were lots of amenities and it has a trail on site as well as access to a rail/trail path. We were only there one night but I think we would have liked it if we stayed longer. We were in Motorhome. We camped at Sugar Ridge RV Village & Campground in a Motorhome.

This was a great experience. The campground was quiet and clean. There is a nice stream that runs through the campground. People were friendly, the sites were flat, large and tree covered. There were lots of things for the kids to do on the campground. We camped at Rip Van Winkle Campground in a Motorhome.

Holiday Trav-L-Park, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This was the loudest campground we have ever been to. The sheer volume of campers that are there is just overboard. The rest rooms and showers are clean but there are not nearly enough showers, my wife, and 10-year-old daughter each had to wait over an hour and 1/2. The Wi-Fi was expensive and there was no fire ring at any sites I saw. I like to cook over the fire but that was not possible. They have quiet hours but those do not apply to the owner approving that the band can play well past it (11 PM) if they enjoy the music. Despite what other post indicate, we were there Monday through Wednesday and there were bands every night. We have young kids as did many campers and going well past 11 PM is unacceptable in a “family friendly” campground. . This was like camping in a city. We camped at Holiday Trav-L-Park in a Motorhome.

Anvil Campground, Williamsburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great experience. The facilities are very clean and most sites have tree coverage. The kids had a great time in the pool and around the camp. The staff and campers were very friendly. The camp is very close to all of the sites in the area. There are train track next to the park but that was not really an issue. Loved it an would return. We camped at Anvil Campground in a Motorhome.

Holiday Shore Campground and Resort, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is a huge campground with mostly full-timers and regulars/seasonals. Upon booking, the host took our credit card, but could not send an email confirmation. For a campground this big, I was shocked that they had no interent or email for staff use. The firepit was much too close to the electrical hook-up (we ended up moving the pit). Not a particularly friendly campground. We were asked by the people across from us what time we were leaving the next day because they had a friend who wanted to come in and set up their tent early (8am). The kids enjoyed the pool and the lake activities and made friends with the locals. Overall, very loud and active. We camped at Holiday Shore Campground and Resort in a Motorhome.

Otter Creek Campground, Airville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Campground was nice and quiet. Close to the river but not on the river. It was a very clean and VERY friendly place. They had catered barbeque which looked and smelled great but we didn't take part. The trails were nice but could use a little maintenance. We have a Class C and fit very easily in the site. It wasn't perfectly level but didn't take much to level out the rig. They said the staff would assist if I wanted help. It was a very good experience. We camped at Otter Creek Campground in a Motorhome.
