.Well managed park. They meet you on arrival and take you to site before you register. Big rig area very nice. Smaller rigs are placed in amongst heavy tree cover. Doubt Sat. service there. Internet surprisingly good. Very knowledgeable about local attractions. Very pleasant helpful staff. We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

Toledo East / Stony Ridge KOA, Perrysburg, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Water good quality and pressure. Electric held up well with 50 amps. Location is good and away from highway. Decent mix of open and shade for a senior park. Pool worked well during week with no children. Staff friendly. But like so many other places the Wi-Fi infra structure needs to be improved. It worked well part of the time. But there were very few folks here then. Can't imagine what it would be like when full. To get over an "8" in my book, there has to be consistent Wi-Fi. Otherwise, pleasant, quiet, well located and maintained park. I would return if in the area. We camped at Toledo East / Stony Ridge KOA in a Motorhome.

Shore Hills Campground and RV Park, Boothbay, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Very pleasant experience. Has both shaded and open grassy sites for big rigs. Water, sewer, electric ,and cable worked well. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Well maintained. Biking was a challenge in the area as roads are older, narrow, and it is a busy resort area. But it was classic coastal Maine. We would definitely return. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Boston Minuteman Campground, Littleton, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older park that has been very well resuscitated. While it is wooded it is well trimmed back and we made it into our site with a 43 ft. motorhome without difficulty. They carefully direct you to your site. Water, sewer, electricity, and cable worked well. Internet worked. Very helpful staff. I would return if in area. Do not use GPS; follow their instructions. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

Bras D'Or Lakes Campground, Baddeck, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very good experience. Best, most consistent Internet service of entire trip. Electric was 50 amps more or less. At 48 amps, it sometimes tripped breaker. They had just had lots of rain and mud was resolving. Pool was good, but not heated. Pleasant staff. Helpful. I would stay here again. We camped at Bras D'Or Lakes Campground in a Motorhome.
