Date of Stay:

Rate based on Passport America discount for 2 nights. Decent sites, grass pad, level. Didn't check the bathrooms. A bit off Rte 17/I86 but worth the drive. Many of the sites were seasonal, but the central area near the pool was available for short term stays. Very pretty and nicely maintained, but the gentlemen who checked us in could have used some customer service training; he was definitely less than helpful/friendly, but the place overall was decent, and we would stay again.

Nice, clean campground with easy access off of I-71. Our site was level with a gravel pad and lots of space plus some trees. They have an indoor pool which looks great but we didn't use. The very best thing about this campground and the reason we gave it a 10 was the great staff here - especially the maintenance crew. When we arrived our electricity did not work. After determining we were getting power from the shore line they volunteered to help us figure out what was wrong with the coach. They were able to find a loose wire in our converter and fixed it for us. All in 96 deg heat!!! They were both drenched with sweat but refused to accept any money or any other consideration - they said it was just part of their job. Great campsite, great people - what more could you ask for.

Rate for Escapees members. Older park, clean and well maintained. Sites were reasonably level with some shade but were relatively close together. Bathroom and showers were clean and usable. The pool was small but nice. The best thing about the park was the great staff. Hugs and warm wishes all around from the mostly workcamper staff. We will definitely be back.
