Rate is for full-hook up 50 amp site. We stayed here in our 35' rig in D Loop, which is the newest. There is good space and also trees between most sites. The restroom/showers/laundry building is new and very clean. A-C Loops are older, but also clean. Showers cost at least $0.50 for 3 minutes and more if you take longer. Also, you need a daily $8 park pass or an annual Colorado State park pass. Paved roads, level concrete pads. This is a wonderful state park with lots to do: swimming, boating, horseback riding (stables on site), birding, bicycling, and hiking. I will definitely return.

We love this campground. This is probably our 4th summer visit. The new owners are as nice as the previous owners. Beautiful views of the Collegiate Peaks from many sites. Older sites have big shade trees. Gravel roads and pads. The restrooms/showers/laundry are VERY clean. This campground makes a good home base to do lots in the area: fishing, rafting, kayaking, jeeping, hot springs, and touring ghost towns. There are good restaurants in Buena Vista, Leadville, and Salida.
