Sparks Marina RV Park, Sparks, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

As others have said, excellent park. It is large, with wide streets to maneuver your RV into your site. Astro turf, great picnic table with metal space on one end for you to use your BBQ Grill on. Bathrooms are immaculate, laundry room clean and good value. All in all excellent experience. We have stayed here before, and will be back when we visit our kids! We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Crazy Horse Campgrounds, Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Old, dirty, run down. Bathroom doors rotting away, the entire site (except for the park model area) is filthy. We reserved full hookups with water view, so they put us down by the water, where there were no sewer hookups. We went back and explained we wanted full hookups and they said ok, but no water view available, so they put us near the bathrooms and pool, no discount or refund for not getting water view. Next to us on both sides were full timers, one was an ancient class C with plastic boxes and tubs surrounding it, junk everywhere. A man and his teen age son lived in this tiny space, with three cats, and they were constantly arguing, loudly, late into the night. What a mess! By far the worst campground I have ever experienced. Keep on moving to the next place, there are so many other choices nearby. Picnic table was a piece of junk, and slab broken up. We camped at Crazy Horse Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

The Palms River Resort, Needles, California

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is mainly a mobile home park, not an RV Park, only renting out spaces until they can get the spaces sold. Our spot was plenty large, close to the so called "beach", and close to the swimming pool. I did not realize when I booked in here that there were no grocery stores in Needles (a city of 4,000, really??), the closest apparently being Lake Havasu. The value is just not there for what you get, especially if you have to drive 50+ miles round trip just to get some fixings for your hamburgers. We camped at The Palms River Resort in a Motorhome.

Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven), Yreka, California

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet older park right off I-5. No discernible highway noise, clean park, clean facilities (did not look at/use laundry). Helpful lady walked us to our site which was spacious, and later after we were hooked up came bu with a couple bags of popcorn. Nice welcome! We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Motorhome.

Twin Falls / Jerome KOA, Jerome, Idaho

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

To be fair it was the end of season, most of their amenities had closed up for the winter. Excellent bathrooms and showers, the rest ok. Construction noise from the road construction going on at the entrance, but no freeway noise even though easy access to the interstate. We camped at Twin Falls / Jerome KOA in a Motorhome.

Spacious pull through full hook up. Very pleasant park, easy access to I-40, fuel, etc. We enjoyed the meals cooked in the picnic area on site. Restrooms were older but clean and well maintained. Black Bart's RV Park, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Large park, easy access from I-40, truck stop next door for fuel up. Sites are large with concrete patios. The saloon/steakhouse on site is a fun place to have a good mean and enjoy the entertainment from the singing waiter/waitresses. It gets cold at night in October so they warn you to turn off and unhook water hose at night. We would stay there again. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park, Glendale, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small friendly park, with gravel sites, grass & picnic table between sites. Halfway between Zion and Bryce Canyon parks. Very friendly staff. Bathrooms are older, but clean and well maintained. Laundry was clean. Full hookups. Wi-Fi, but no TV. Sites are a little tight for big rigs, but there were several in there. The office sells fresh butchered and frozen, locally grown grass fed beef. Very quiet park. We camped at Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Panguitch Lake Adventure Resort, Panguitch, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Park is located right on Panguitch Lake. All sites are back in, and were large enough for us, and looked to be adequate for all the larger rigs that were present. Our site had a picnic table, and a fire ring. Entire area is gravel and crushed granite. No TV, but fair Internet, and phone service (Verizon) was spotty. We did not look at the laundry, but the food was excellent at the restaurant on site that also bakes some pretty good pies. Excellent fishing, with boat rentals available from the park. Worth the drive in if you want to catch some trout. We camped at Panguitch Lake Adventure Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Suncrest RV Resort, Moses Lake, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Paved spaces, grass between spaces, easy to get in and out. Lots of facilities for kids, swim pools, etc. Very small laundry. Although bathrooms were clean, the showers had no privacy, and you had to push the button to get water, as soon as you let go the water shut off! I have seen that on faucets, but never on a shower. And the mirrors in the bathrooms are not mirrors, they are stainless steel sheet metal like you see in public rest areas! Very cheap! And, there is no cable TV. Not unusual in remote areas, but in Moses Lake? We cannot recommend nor will we be back. We camped at Suncrest RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Kootenai River Campground, Troy, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice little park, located right on the Kootenai River. The manager is very helpful and friendly. The sites are gravel, but mostly level as far as I could tell. Wi-Fi was pretty good at our site, some people had to go to the central kiosk to get service, but it was adequate when you did get it. No cable TV is the only reason we did not give it a 10. The bathrooms, although not modern, were nice and clean. There is laundry on site we did not use, and a small store. The new owners are still improving it. You can walk to the river and fish on site if you wish. We'll stay there again if in that part of the state. We camped at Kootenai River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Columbia Falls RV Park, Columbia Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park. Although located right on Hwy 2, we found it to be quiet, except for a little train noise in the background during the night. The bathrooms were immaculate, modern and spotless. The laundry room the same. Sites were easy to get into, with a park employee guiding you to you site and ensuring you are set up with your sliders clear, etc. Location only a few miles out of Glacier is great, and I found fishing on the Flathead river to be very good. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
