Washington DC / Capitol KOA, Millersville, Maryland

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice place. We stayed here for 6 nights. They have a shuttle to D.C. which cost you $12.00 per person. They leave you in front of the Capital around 10:00, and pick you back up at 4:30. If you want to stay in D.C. longer, you are better going by metro, this way you can visit longer. The staff is very friendly. I would stay here again. We camped at Washington DC / Capitol KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground), Clarksboro, New Jersey

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Lots of seasonals. Pool was nice and very clean. People who worked here were very nice. We stayed here for five nights so we could visit Philadelphia. We drove to the train station, which is free to park and only 12 minutes away. Took the train in and out of Philadelphia. It's the best way to travel and cheaper because each time you cross the bridge into Philly they charge you $5.00, and the parking in the city can get expensive. We camped at Philadelphia South KOA (formerly Timberlane Campground) in a Travel Trailer.
