Oak Grove Campground / Resort, Holland, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a week with our family (who own a popup), and we were thrilled with this campground. The security was excellent and we had no concerns with our 10 and 12 year old exploring the property. The sites were tight to get in and out of because of the trees, but not to the point of causing a problem. The campground was spotless and the people in the office always greeted us with a smile. The pool area and hot tub was lovely. Our family enjoyed the community firepits. We have no negatives to say about this campground and I have expressed my dissapointment with other campgrounds when I felt it necessary. Good job Oak Grove. We camped at Oak Grove Campground / Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Elkhorn Campground, Frankfort, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Neat, tidy campground with clean restroom and showers. Showers and toillet are all carpeted and I question how these are kept clean. The pictures of the pull through sites are very deceiving because they show only one rig per pull through. Actually, they put two rigs per site with one unit being a back in making the water connection on the wrong side. We had a popup directly behind us and their tent end was only 4 feet from our back window. Motor homes can not put their car on the site unless they pull in sideways. The pull through sites are very close together. We would probably stay here again because other campgrounds are rated poorly except for the Kentucky Horse Park. We camped at Elkhorn Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Elkhart Campground, Elkhart, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice well maintained campground with friendly and helpful staff. The only negative we have is that the sites are too close together, leaving little or no privacy. If I sat be the windows I could hear the neighbors' conversation. If you have smokers next to you, the sites are so close it filters through the windows. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Travel Trailer.

South Haven Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort (formerly South Ha, South Haven, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, well maintained campground. Sites are level with gravel/dirt surface. Some grass. I can not give this campground more than a 3 rating because the roads are dirt and every time a car goes by there is a cloud of dust. The campground is in full sun with no trees. Camp sites are positioned east and west, so you have hot sun in the morning and hot sun in the evening. Campground is in a rural setting about 5 miles outside of South Haven. Will not stay here again. We camped at South Haven Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort (formerly South Ha in a Travel Trailer.
