Utah Lake State Park, Provo, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This used to be our favorite area park. Not anymore. It's poorly managed and poorly maintained. Trash in fire ring. Numerous vehicles parked anywhere, including sites occupied by others. Camp host never seen. Ranger vehicle drove through once in 2 days - at twice the posted speed limit, and ignored several obvious rules infractions. We camped at Utah Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Black Hills Whispering Pines, Silver City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park is in a beautiful setting in a pine-forested valley. New owners are enthusiastic, helpful and friendly. Sites are mostly pull-through and rather narrow, but the owners were leaving every other space vacant when we were there. WiFi is slow. Verizon voice signal is strong, but data signal is marginal. We camped at Black Hills Whispering Pines in a Fifth Wheel.

St. Cloud Campground & RV Park, Saint Cloud, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

One of the best! Friendly and helpful owner, long and spacious pull-through sites, mature shade trees, grass, good laundry. Would definitely stay again. We camped at St. Cloud Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
